Sometimes being active with your kids means pushing aside the crazy long to-do list and hitting the park for some fresh air. Today we walked to the playground and I chased my babies around until we were all out of breath. It was just what we all needed and I know when they look back, they’ll remember a mom with a huge belly running and making crazy dinosaur noises and making them laugh. I know being active with your kids is not easy. In fact it takes us 20 minutes just to get out the door! But it’s so worth it friends. Mamas, do what you can, when you can! . . . Today I’m teaming up with #WorkoutWednesday to encourage you to take small steps towards an active lifestyle doing everyday things with your kids! #ad . . #aleandteresundays I hope that when they look back, they remember these days as “the good ol’ days” .... I know I will. . . Loving this little family of mine so much and it’s not just because they all behaved so well at church today (even ale) which means that they all get ice cream for dessert and mama gets two scoops because #momperks and #nationalicecreamday . Happy Sunday friends!
Somedays we’re dancing in the rain and others we’re holding on for dear life. No matter what, or where or how crazy it all gets it always comes back to this. To you. To us. . . Celebrating love today and everyday with these @qalo rings #QALOring
✨ Our relationship in a nutshell. She cannon-balls at restaurants, in the car, off her crib, off the toilet... pretty much anywhere. I just pray my reflexes stay sharp and the grays hold off a few more years!!! ✨ . Celebrated Emory’s 2nd birthday and there are a whole bunch of cute photos on the blog today. #linkinprofile
We considered the risks, geared up and went for it. 🏜 Hiking the Narrows at @zionnational with this crew is definitely something I will never forget. Kids on our backs, a pregnant belly and the bravest six year old by our side 🙌🏼 Here’s the great news: you don’t have to make it to the National parks to be active with your kids. Get outside! Go to your local park, toss a ball around, walk your dog or chase them around the house in a game of marco polo. Do what you can, when you can! . . ✨Maybe it’s the way she smiles when she sees him or the way he smiles when she gets close. Maybe it’s the water or the matching curls in their hair or her cute little wedgie. Maybe it’s the summer ✨ magic, but these two together is what my dreams are made of. They have the sweetest bond and I get a front row seat. ✨
✨ So much gratitude for this body of mine. It has carried three babies and continues to work and stretch while I keep pushing it to it’s limit. Here’s to strong mama bodies that give and give and keep on givin! ✨
Celebrated 9 years since our engagement, laughed about how he happened to win all of the money for my engagement ring at the hard rock and reminisced about being young, carefree and in love. This guy, holding my youngest takes my breath away day after day. Gosh I love him.😘

... This week we celebrate our freedom, a costly one indeed and the brave men and women who lay it all on the line for us. This week I also celebrate our parents. The ones who with bruised backs, weary arms and hope-filled eyes, led their families into this beautiful country. They didn’t know if we’d be welcomed, or separated upon entering. All they knew was that they desired a better tomorrow for their kids. Our immigrant parents are the reason we are able to have these conversations with Grace and the one who shares the rights that we have all fought so hard for... . . Sharing how a spelling lesson turned into a deep conversation about our rights. || LINK IN PROFILE || . . Happy Fourth of July friends! 🇺🇸🙌🏼
