Still reminiscing about the super fun morning we had exploring canyons with these awesome people - What’s one of your most memorable adventures?
Even though I had a couple weddings in January and February, this weekend felt like the official kick off of wedding season 2018! My calendar is filling up with engagement sessions and meetings, timelines are getting finalized, and last minute details are coming together. I love it! Literally, I have the #bestjobever ...can’t wait for what this year holds!
For today’s #fridayintroductions I thought I’d introduce you to a couple of the critters on the farm... meet Bianca and Buster! When Bianca came to live here she was expecting twin lambs. Unfortunately, she only gave birth to just one and we lost it. It was so sad, but a couple days later a neighboring farmer had a lamb that needed a mama so Buster joined the flock and Bianca adopted him as her very own. The bond these two share is something extra special! 🐑 - Bianca is more like a puppy than a sheep. She loves to have her ears scratched and she’ll follow you around the pasture wherever you go. She’s the leader of the flock and she’s super protective of her baby. - Buster is almost 3 months old now. He is super playful and loves to run, jump, and be outside. He has a darling little friendship with our dog #PepperAnn
Wedding day tip: It may sound silly, but the “getting ready” photos are one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. It usually involves some sweet moments between a bride and her mom, laughter with all her best girls, and a few quiet moments to breathe before the craziness of the day begins. - To make the most of these moments (and get the prettiest photos to capture it) choose a place to get ready with plenty of space and plenty of natural light. Comfy seating and lots of mirrors are a huge plus. Clear the clutter so your photographer can get a clean shot of your dress and all those little moments. 💄
In January I got to photograph my little brother proposing to the beautiful Courtney. Read the story on the blog. ❤️ P.S. you should listen to the song “Diamond In My Pocket” by Cody Johnson while viewing these images 💍
It’s day 3 of back to reality and the cold of Illinois, but my heart is still so warm from the best road trip last week... I’m feeling so thankful for the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful creation and hang out with some of the best people. More details and blog post coming soon!
