Randy + I have decided we need to buy a second home in Telluride, even though I’ve never been skiing or snowboarding before. We officially love it here. 😍 #thedurhamzoo #telluride #viewcolorado #filmbornapp #iphone8plus #snowbunny #radtravels
#Telluride just might be one of my new favorite places in the world ... even if it's December and there's no real snow, and it's warm enough to not need a jacket during the day. Sooooo excited for today's wedding at @peaksresortspa with Nate + Sam, and with Emma who flew all the way in from California to coordinate! Woo woo!! @nateriffle @lil_daus @emmalseitz #rifflesintelluride
Spent a little time with Nathan + Sam at 10,000 feet in Telluride before the party starts tonight for their wedding weekend! #rifflesintelluride #radweddings @lil_daus @nateriffle #radstorytellers
Her One, His Only. Pretty much obsessed with Hannah + Keegan's wedding, from start to finish. 💕 @hannahmbye @kbizmonkey @entwinedplanningco @sprucemountainranch #dawnscreations #youhadmeatbye #radweddings #lookslikefilmweddings
Is anyone else in Colorado constantly checking the weather forecast, hoping for a white Christmas?! I might of done a little happy jig when I saw that snowflake on the weather app this morning for 10 days from now!!!! 😍 @hannahmbye @kbizmonkey @entwinedplanningco @sprucemountainranch @muahbyj @somethingnewboutique @radleynina #dawnscreations #youhadmeatbye #radweddings #lookslikefilmweddings
This is one of my favorite photos from nearly every wedding ceremony. It's that moment during the recessional when without fail, 9 out of 10 brides looks over at her brand new husband with such overwhelming, beaming joy ... literally my favorite moment from most ceremonies.
This will hopefully be my first and last mirror selfie. Especially one in a hospital gown. I took this photo a couple hours ago, trying not to choke on my anxiety. Let me first say: I am totally fine. Last month, right before Thanksgiving, I found a lump in my right breast. Being adopted, I don’t know if cancer runs in my family and being a 34-year-old woman, well ... shit happens. I’ve spent the last few weeks doing everything I could NOT to look up anything online, NOT to think about it or worry about any of “what if’s.” I didn’t tell anyone about the lump except my parents, Randy and my best friend Stephanie. I didn’t want to talk about it. This morning, all that bravado came crashing down. I spent most of today pretty much a wreck, filed with anxiety and fear. I tried not to cry brushing my girls’ hair. I absolutely lost it making breakfast. The “what if’s” totally paralyzed me the better part of today. I spent the last couple hours getting felt up, squished, mammogrammed, ultrasounded and I’m happy to say - the lump (which is a 4mm cyst) is most definitely benign. 🙌 I’m gonna go home and I’m probably going to cry (again), gonna snuggle with Randy and the kids and take a deep sigh of relief. But I just want to say - ladies, be proactive. It’s scary and intimidating, but be proactive about yourself and your health. ❤️ Big thanks to the incredible women staff at #penradimaging for making me feel at ease, informed and comfortable despite the overwhelming fear of the unknown. ❤️
Puppies, proposals and all kinds of happy tears ... happy #WeddingWednesday friends! If you’d like to see more from Collin + Baillye’s romantic surprise proposal with their rescue puppy Leo, it’s up on our blog today. 😍 Swipe ➡️ to see more right now though!! @rednaughton #radweddings @intimatestorytellers @theknot #authenticlovemag
When you marry your best friend just going to the grocery store feels like an adventure. - Melissa (talking about everything she likes to do together with John) This, guys. THIS is what marriage is to me, too. It's taking the mundane, and making it an adventure. It's being together. It's the LITTLE things. I'm so excited to be sharing John + Melissa's engagement session on our blog today!! Side note: I love the symbolism of this photo. I honestly didn't even realize it until I read Melissa's quote - two twigs that were separate, but meant to be together, with a ring right near the joining of the two branches to the infinite distance. Damn, I'm a poet and I didn't even KNOW IT. Hahaha!
