Me yesterday. Celebrating the fact that I was about to climb 60 foot telephone pole to conquer my fears. (I was actually pooping my pants 💩♥️👖) We each took turns climbing To the top and then jumping off. . . The pole was symbolic of the challenges we are trying to overcome here at health and wealth mastery. - a 10 day coaching journey. We were told to think about the goals that brought us here as we climbed to the top. . . Then I heard this: “When you get your body out of the way, your spirit can move through you.” Thank you to our gracious facilitator for speaking such truth. . . If you saw my posts last week, I made a declaration to the universe that I was going to get out of my Own way. I am ready to play bigger, do bigger things and get rid of that old story of being the chubby girl. I have a business teaching women how to make money online - and I love that, but taking care of my body is the thing I’ve been avoiding. No more. . . This was my conquering moment - the moment I decided I was ready to step into a new level. I came, I saw, I climbed, I conquered. And then I let go. . . Can I challenge you babe? Because I love you so much. I want you to know that the life you deserve is possible. The life you crave can happen. Everything you want you can manifest it into your life. You just have to be willing to show up, see your goals, climb one small step at a time, and then let go and trust that the universe is supporting you. . . So... if you could wake up tomorrow and be a whole new human who went after her dreams without letting doubt or fear get in the way - who would you be? What would you do differently?
“The greatest source of our suffering is the lies we tell ourselves.” . . Yesterday I packed my bags to travel to a health and wealth event with Tony Robbins to face the biggest lie I’ve ever told: “I’m the chubby girl.” . . I’m spending the next week working through this old story I’ve been hanging onto. It’s the last lie that makes me still play small. I’m ready to change. I’m ready to grow. I’m ready to heal. . . In my life, I’ve let go of many bull shit stories: “You can’t be successful.” “You’re not a good writer.” “You’re not good enough to do xy and z.” “You’re a broke girl.” “You’ll always struggle.” “You’re a loner.” “You can’t be popular on social media because you were never popular in your life.” The list goes on. . . A while ago I made a promise to myself that I would heal all of my old bull shit. I refused to settle for less than I deserved in my life, and my weight is the same exact thing. I’m done settling. It’s time to kill the old story. . . What old story have you been telling yourself that you’re ready to let go of? drop it here so you can release it. 👇🏼♥️
Yesterday I got home from the most amazing massage and received these beautiful flowers from @ryanyokome and @kris_britton - I nearly cried. See, Ryan was my very first coach. And our contract just ended this week. 😭♥️ . . I get a lot of questions about coaching and “when do you know if you need a coach” is definitely a common one. I knew I needed a coach because I wasn’t making the money I wanted to in my business. I felt like I was spinning my wheels and was so so ready to go bigger. . . “How do you know if you found the right coach?” - when you know. You know. Finding a coach is like falling in love. You can’t explain it - you just know he (or she) is “the one.” . . A year and a half ago I heard Ryan on a podcast and instantly knew he was my coach. At the time, my business was making just a few thousand dollars each month and nothing was consistent. I was ready to take action, ready to get results, ready to grow. I was sooo done spinning my wheels. Ryan, I knew, was the coach to get me there. I ran to the computer and wrote him a Facebook message “I need to work with you.” (And then listened to the podcast episode 3 more times.) . . I didn’t have the money at the time, so I applied for a credit card with zero APR and charged 10,000. It.was.scary. . . The next year and a half with Ryan was the most beautiful transformational experience of my life. My business boomed into a a half million dollar empire. I bought my dream car. I got married. We purchased gorgeous bedroom furniture and tickets to some beautiful destinations. I became a Tony Robbins platinum partner and made a whole new life. . . But the transformation I experienced in my soul was even more powerful than the financial shifts. My soul is truly changed. I am confident, free, open, true to myself and in my purpose every single day. And it’s because I took that big scary leap a year and a half ago. (Continued in comments) 👇🏼😍
“Your playing small.” - what the f does that even mean? Lately I’ve been connecting the dots on how I’m still playing small in my life and business. I think we hear that phrase all the time but so few actually know what “playing small” means. Playing small means that you are standing in your own way of growth. It means you have a goal, a dream, or a vision, but you aren’t going after it with 100 percent tenacity or your self sabotaging because you are afraid. When I first heard this, I was like “hell no I’m not playing small, I’m trying so hard to reach my goals!” But after some thought, I realized there are so many little ways my ego monsters come in and keep me stuck. So I’ll be real with you, my business has made 40k+ each month for four months straight. And I’m still playing small! Here are some of the ways playing small was still coming up for me: -keeping extra weight on my body because I’m afraid of being my true highest self for fear of being hurt. -not putting myself out there to collaborate with other influencers because I’m afraid of rejection. -avoiding actually growing my audience, for fear of not being able to handle the growth. -avoiding putting myself out there in a more real raw and open way for fear of rejection. How am I shifting out of playing small? 1. I’m doing the inner work. I’m journaling, meditating and praying as often as possible. I’m flying out to Florida tomorrow for a big personal development event! 2. I’m taking action to challenge my beliefs (once you acknowledge them you can fight through them.) 3. I promised myself and committed to goals that require me to play bigger (reaching x amount of pounds or x amount of followers is a great way to do that.) 4. I continuously surrender, trust and give up control. So let me ask you, it’s a new month - how were you playing small and what are you ready to give up?
Close your eyes for a minute (after you read this post babe.) Ask yourself, “what feelings am I chasing right now for my life and business?” With your eyes closed, allow yourself to feel all of those feelings that you crave. success. abundance. freedom. wealth. significance. opportunity. fun. adventure. We all use different words to describe he feelings we crave in our businesses, but I think where many of us get tripped up is in the waiting game.We are waiting for our life to begin, waiting to feel all of those things. Waiting until one day we have enough money, enough followers, and enough success to finally give ourselves permission to feel all of those things. . . “I won’t feel successful until….” “I won’t feel proud of myself until…” . . These words are exactly why we are staying stuck and not reaching the level of abundance we crave. If you are waiting to feel, you will be waiting your whole life. . . Here’s the secret: Feeling these emotions in your body right now will allow you to attract even more of what you are craving. . . Feel successful in order to create more success. Feel abundance to attract more abundance. . . Your feelings can be the catalyst that propels you into a space of actually receiving more. Sometimes when I am feeling unfulfilled or frustrated in my business I will take a minute to close my eyes and dream of the future. I allow myself to experience all those feelings of joy and abundance running through my body. When I open up my eyes I know I will be a vibrant magnet to attract even more of that into my life. . . So take a minute. Close your eyes. If meditation doesn’t work for you, get out your journal and ask, “Why am I successful right here and now?” Drop it in the comments for me so I can celebrate with you (and so you can declare it to the universe.) Why are you successful right here and now in your life? 👇🏼😍🔮
Trying to achieve any goal in your life or business, you always have two options. . . Option 1️⃣: you can say, “this is so hard I’m never going to get where I want to be. Why is everything always a challenge for me? Why do things suck so much all the time?” Option 2️⃣: you can say, “let’s have fun on the journey of figuring this out. How can I bring more joy and play into this experience? What do I need to learn that can take me to the next level?” . . Lately I’ve been learning that option 2 - when we allow it in - can not only be an energetic shift in our mood and state of being, but can also get us to our results faster. . . Yesterday I went to see a functional medicine doctor about my health. She asked so many questions that quite honestly, I haven’t asked myself in a long long times (because I had been bullying myself instead.) “Why do you eat so much at night?” And “how do you think your stress in business affects your relationship with your husband (Matt was sitting right next to me.) . . I realized that I need to do a better job of asking the questions that get me closer to my solutions. I need more “problem solving” questions and less “victim creating” questions. The first year of my business I definitely found myself in those “poor me” thoughts - “why is this hard, why can’t I do it, why am I struggling so much?” These questions got me no where for my business (or my health.) . . Tony Robbins says quality questions create a quality life. Here are a few you can journal on today: 1. What is no longer serving me that I need to get rid of? 2. Who can I study or what can I study that will teach me more of what I need to know to succeed? 3. How can I set more healthy boundaries in my life to get my closer to my result? 4. What non negotiable actions do I need to add to my lifestyle? 5. What bad habits do I need to give up? 6. Who do I want to be in this world? 7. What would the million dollar me do? 8. How can I choose love? ♥️
True Life: I built a multiple six figure coaching business with a mental illness. . . If you don’t know this about me, I struggle with depression and anxiety symptoms. And not the mild kind. (I have a history of 3week psych visits and suicide attempts in my late teens.) I used to think that this made me a terrible coach - that I couldn’t help someone because I struggled with this deep dark secret in my past. But I actually think it makes me stronger. . . . Here’s the low down. In 2009 I was raped. Mental Illness can be triggered by experiences in our lives that alter our brain chemistry. That experience was my shift. I spent eight years taking handfuls of medication trying to find the right elixir that would suddenly make me feel happy again. Nothing worked and everything had side effects: I gained weight, had brain fog, became an emotional zombie, and even fell asleep behind the wheel. Twice. . . Doctors told me I would be on medication my whole entire life. But two years ago I made the decision to come off of all my medication. As I deepened my spiritual practice and started creating a life by my own design, I felt this fire in my heart that was telling me to live medication free. I was ready to let go of my old story of being a victim. When my coaching business started to take off, I knew it was time to start healing certain parts of myself that I had been ignoring - like the trauma of what I had been through. . . Coming off of medication isn’t for everyone. And after two years there is still a ton of work of me in this area. I use essential oils regularly, I study my moon cycles, and I take carefully selected supplements for my brain health. I meditate every day and I removed caffeine from my lifestyle. Scariest Post ever alert 🚨😳 . . Today I shift into a deeper level of self care and personal growth: putting My health before my business. (See my previous post for the details.) Consider this my before picture: vulnerable nakie me. I don’t even own a pair of shorts or a bathing suit - yet here I am in my bra and undies putting it all out there on social media. . . I thought about going on this journey privately - since my instagram isn’t really a “wellness account.” Part of me worried people wouldn’t be into it if I started to post about my body, meals, and fitness goals, since I’m a business coach. But then Source made it clear to me: this is my next layer of vulnerability so I can be a better coach. And I’m ready for it. . . I cannot teach people how to find their voice online if I’m showing up censoring mine. . . There’s such a fear on social media as coaches and business owners that if we aren’t “perfect” that people won’t want to hire us. We feel like we have to have the successful biz , the healthy body, the happy relationships and the freedom life all wrapped up in a perfectly marketed social media presence so that people are inspired enough to work with us. We think we have to “have it all” to get someone to invest in our coaching and if we show up flawed people will be turned away. “How can I help someone with something if I’m still struggling?” - by SHARING. . . I want to prove to you that the more vulnerable and real you are about not being perfect, the more abundance you can actually create in your life. . . We are all on a journey. And I refuse to hide mine. Don’t ever be afraid to be vulnerable. 😍♥️🥑🏆 . .
Let’s talk about heath and entrepreneurship for a minute. . . When people choose to work with you, whether they buy your program, hire you one on one or invest in a product you represent, they are buying YOU and what you stand for. . . I’ve been able to master many things in my life - running a multiple six figure business, a solid coaching style, home decor, spirituality, taking good care of my fur babies, healthy relationships with others - but one thing I have yet to conquer is my health. . . But because I know how important It is for my success, I’m making it my number one priority for the next three months. . . How did I end up here? Heavier than I expected? Tired and fatigued? Simple: I put my business first too often. . . Maybe you can relate - you jump into entrepreneurship and suddenly work has no boundaries. You find yourself checking social media first thing in the morning instead of meditating. You get an DM from a potential client and suddenly you are skipping your workouts. You start dreaming up the program you want to create online and before you know it, you’ve been in front of your computer for 12 hours. By the time the weekend comes all you want to do is nap. . . This is how I ended up here. And I know that my body and my life deserve better. . . So I’m gearing up for a seven day juice cleanse to snap myself back into a higher energy. And I’m really excited about it. I know that my business needs me at my best - so I’m going to put ME first.
Let’s talk about decisions. . . Like this one… last month. When Matt and I decided to elope and not have some big fancy wedding that everyone expected us to have. WE wanted to be alone. We made that choice. And while it didn’t make sense to everyone else - it made perfect sense to us. . . Business is kinda the same way. Your decisions will make NO sense on paper sometimes, but you have to always let your intuition guide your actions. Even when other people don’t “get it.” Especially when they don’t get it. . . Not every business decision is going to make sense, and not all of them are easy. In fact, some decisions you make are going to hurt. Really bad. Some are going to make you cry and want to pull up the blankets over your eyes and just hide in bed all day. But if your soul is calling you to do it - you HAVE to do it. . . Decisions are the most powerful piece of our consciousness. What makes a truly successful entrepreneur isn’t her brains or a proper click funnel or the perfectly arranged instagram photos, rather its her ability to make DECISIONS - and to make them often. . . And when you follow your gut, knowing you are always being led, crazy beautiful things can happen.
My morning rituals are a lifesaver. They are kind of like little ceremonies I do every morning to honor my growth and focus on my intuition. In the morning, I drink my water, have my supplements (healing adrenal fatigue right now) and make a cup of something warm (usually matcha or some adaptogen drink.) then I sit quietly in my meditation room and do whatever calls me. Sometimes it’s reading or listening to music. Today, it’s pulling goddess cards to honor my feminine energy and journaling around some big reflections I had last night (I’ll share them later.) . . Morning routines aren’t supposed to feel overwhelming. And I think there’s this misbelief that as a lightworker you MUST have one. No way babe. The minute you feel obligated to have a morning practice is the minute you should abandon it. I love my time in am practice because it grounds me, connects me to my self, and keeps me in check for all the work I want to do in the world. 🌎 ♥️ . . Truthfully, this is when we are closest to the divine (in the morning) so we want to cherish that clear connection. This is when I set goals for my future, do the inner work, and let my heart chakra open wide. . . Oils, crystals, and Palo Santo are a non-negotiable part of my morning - always. 🔮📿♦️ Card deck is the goddess deck by @doreenvirtue
This is basically how I reacted when I saw my first crystal. “But do they really do anything?” Now, I’m obsessed. They fill my home and I love the soulful vibe they give off in my environment. But I wasn’t always a believer. . . Here are a few crystal tips that have worked for me. A lot of you ask how I use them so I wanted to share. . . 1. I cleanse my crystal jewelry by washing them under water and imagining all the negative energy falling off. The. I “program” my crystal by setting an intention: I will make x amount of dollars, or I will reach x goal. . . 2. I use crystal books. Anything by Judy hall is great for looking up the healing properties and meaning of each individual stone. . . 3. Your first time buying a crystal should be intuitive based. Go to the store, grab what your soul is calling you to and then look up the meaning. You’ll be surprised at how the perfect stone will find you. . . 4. I sleep with amethyst and rose quartz by my bed, and I work with citrine at my desk. getting certain crystals for certain rooms of the house makes a big difference (Citrine attracts money and amethyst is calming and healing) . . 5. Want to charge your crystals? I leave them outside under a full moon. 🌝 ♥️
Even at this level, I have days where shit feels hard. Days where I question how I’m showing up online - moments where I wonder, “was that decision I made really the right choice?” And my total favorite, “can I actually fill this program?” . . It feels silly - I should be grateful for where I am and the success I created. I shouldn’t doubt myself so much right? . . Wrong. I have to be okay with being no okay sometimes. It’s normal to not feel confident 100 percent of the time. . . So can we all just be okay with having downs every once in a while? Can we admit that sometimes we doubt, fear, worry, question, and obsess : and we are so freakin human for that, aren’t we? . . Let it just be okay. Wherever you are and whatever you feel. . . And today, I feel infinite.
If you want to create success - you need to be someone that people want to be around. . . This powerful thought is the reality of being an entrepreneur. Whether you are a coach, a network marketer, or just a girl with a dream: If you want to be successful, make sure that your number one focus is about improving who you are. Because when people buy from you, they are buying YOU - not your product. . . Your business’ success is determined by how much you are willing to grow. If you aren’t confident? Start fixing it. If you aren’t taking care of your health - start prioritizing it. If you feel tired, exhausted and over worked - start searching for a solution. Because the fact of the matter is people will choose to work with you because you embody an energy that they want in their own life. So be infectious. Open your soul. Start doing the world that will make you feel whole, confident and sexy. Whatever that work is. . . Finding your next step of growth is different for everyone. Maybe it’s reading more books on personal development. joining a gym, putting in non negotiable self care hours, or even just making it a priority to go to bed at a reasonable hour - these are the small things that go along way in your business. For me, in this season of my life, it means trying to feel more sexy, going for long walks, and refusing to work until a certain time (or on weekends.) . . So ask yourself today - what do you need to improve in your own personal life to be the leader that attracts the success you crave?
This morning I went into deep meditation and came out with more clarity around my business than EVER BEFORE. . . I have such a fire in my soul to help women create total and utter success in their life. The one thing standing in soooo many biz babes way? HER EMOTIONS. . . Fear: of not being good enough. Doubt: about not being able to succeed. Worry: that they won’t be able to pay their bills if they follow their calling and take scary leaps. Insecurity: over taking the right actions in their biz and whether or not their doing the right thing. . . It isn’t strategy that needs work - it’s the emotions that plague you and keep you from living in your true brilliance. . . The truth is we can control our emotion. You CAN become the confident successful entrepreneur you always wanted to be.
True life: I’m a total nerd. I love geeking out I also am a slob. Sometimes I go a whole entire day without brushing my teeth. (whoops.) I am not a lady all of the time. Sometimes I go 36 hours without putting a bra. I am a total kid. I find farts funny and like to watch cartoons. Sometimes on vacation I gain 10 pounds in a week -and then take three weeks to lose it again. I haven’t shaved my legs or my armpits in about 2 months (which is because I am promising to get waxed before my florida trip in June but really in reality I just didn’t feel like it.) I had a bill that I forgot to pay recently and got mad about the $30 late fee. The other day I cried in the kitchen just because Matt didn’t do the dishes. And last Tuesday, I realized I hadn’t brushed my hair in over a two weeks. Whats the point? The point is we are human. Instagram is a quick place to feel real shitty about not being perfect. And I think its about time we all shed light on who we are in our 100 percent humanness. We ARE original, unique, weird human beings. All of us are flawed. #beyou You can’t teach people how to be happy if you are hiding who you truly are.
Next week we kick off a five day challenge called Coach to Cash. It’s a FREE program I run that helps coaches in the online space get a ton of clarity and attract new clients into their biz (the link is in my bio to sign up.) . . The old me when gearing up to run a challenge would be obsessed over making it perfect - my sales pages, the content, the marketing - all of it. I would stress out and work 12 hours a day in front of my computer hoping that enough people would sign up. “What if this flops, what if this isn’t good enough?” would be the incessant thought chatter in my crazy brain. . . But now, after three years and a lot of hard learned lessons later - I know that the universe is guiding me and that I am always safe and supported as I grow my business. This took me a LONG time to learn: Let go of the fear, relax, and be at peace . . The big question that keeps coming up for so many of my students is, “how?” - “How can I stop stressing? How can I stop freaking out about whether I’m going to succeed or fail at this? How can I stop worrying about money and How can I stop doubting myself so much?” . . The key is to always reminding yourself that the work you do in the world is bigger than you. When it’s about you, we use words like, “stress, failure, overwhelm and fear.” but when we truly align with our purpose and what we are meant to do (and we focus our energy on that aspect of our business) we can use words like, “safe, supported, vocation, calling and service.” Spirituality and going deep into my inner healing has allowed me to see that I am led, supported and safe at all times. Reading personal development books is a great way to get started and to continue growing, (this is some of my collection) but the inner work is something only YOU can do. . . Continued in comments 👇🏼♥️
After my post yesterday about being real on social media, I received so many beautiful comments from so many beautiful people that are craving real authenticity online. . . So I decided - I’m going to start showing up more on here to share more of the little pieces of my life and not just talk about business. Starting with my morning routine this week. . . Every morning, I’ve gotten up at a reasonable time, sat down in this meditation room, journaled, and read my current book of study- the untethered soul. . . I’m learning so much the second time around with this book. . . Biggest takeaways so far: 1. Keep that heart open. Always. Good or bad. We tend to close our heart and trap our negative emotional patterns in there. The key to releasing is openness. 2. Things are neither good nor bad. They just are. When we can learn to receive these experienced and observe our life rather than take everything so personally, we can shift into enlightenment. 3. Go outside and look at the stars. Take a moment to reflect on how you are a tiny being sitting on a ball of dirt circling in a galaxy flying through space. Doesn’t that make you feel like your problems aren’t so bad? 4. Your mind and it’s programming are like doors that keep you trapped. The pattern of negative thought is just like being sick. Psychological sickness is just as big of a Deal as physical wellness. . . Today I’m going to share some highlighted excerpts from the book in my insta story ♥️ 📖📌 I’ll save it to the highlights. Have you read the book?
