A great day out- hiking and learning about the dams and water systems on Table Mountain. Well done to the hiking squad for winning the quiz and walking away with the much coveted speckled eggs. Thanks to Project 90 by 2030, as always, for the help organising. #UCTmsc

  • A couple of weeks back, the UCT community was informed of the untimely passing away of the Senior Co-ordinator of Administration & Operations in Sport & Recreation - Lydia Hall. In her 31 years of service, she has been an irreplaceable asset to sports clubs at UCT. Although she was not the co-ordinator for the MSC, she has played a significant role in facilitating and assisting with admin issues for us. We held the Hoare Hut Birthday Bash this past weekend - which is a particularly jovial occasion. In that spirit, we held a minute's applause for Lydia, as a show of respect, acknowledgement and celebration of who she was and the service she has done for the UCT community. Thank You, Lydia.
