Back in 2012 I started a group called the Orlando Lady Crafters. We met up every month at various craft beer bars in and around Orlando. There were only a couple of breweries in town back then. Big River at Disney was one of the few. Kent was brewing the beers then now it’s Sky. It’s always been one of my favorite places in town to enjoy a beer. I stopped by there last week and enjoyed a delicious Oktoberfest beer. I feel like I’ve come full circle with my craft beer journey. I’ve discovered some great beer & breweries along the way, but I’m most thankful for the friendships I’ve made thanks to beer. I’ve taken a few weeks off from social media. I haven’t done that in a very long time. I have to say it feels good. I’m on a new journey and I’m not sure where my passion for beer fits in. I don’t know if this will be my last post or not but I won’t be social online for a while. I will miss engaging with many of you. I’ll still be enjoying beers with friends around town and I look forward to discovering new breweries. I’m just going to enjoy it as Kelli for now on and enjoy the moment for what it is. Cheers my beer friends it’s been fun🍻
@civilsocietybrewing Fresh is the winner of the Florida #ipa challenge 🏆Ihave to say @redcypressbrewery Earlene was my favorite. We did good on guessing. Cheers to #floridabeer
I've been enjoying visiting @hiddenspringsaleworks since they opened a couple of years ago. I swing by about every other visit to Tampa. I was happy we made it this go around because there were some great beers on tap👌🏻⠀ They had a few variations of their Black Aggie (imperial stout). We tried three of them and I loved them all! My favorite out of the three was the Chocolate Raspberry. I could drink this every week. If I lived in Tampa I'd be going back for more🍻
Always enjoy checking out new places. Love it when they have delicious drinks on tap. @garagistemeadery has some amazing mead on tap in Tampa🍯I got a pour of their Reboog Fraise a PB & J mead coming in at 14%. Hubs went with Mead X (currant, cherry, blackberry & vanilla) 14% ABV. The flavors just pop out. Grab a bite over across the way at @thehallonfranklin and enjoy.
