EMA at Brooklyn Bazaar
last weekend in The Ramble, Central Park.
Tegan & Sara @ Kings Theatre performing 'The Con' in full. This week I went to & didn't shoot two shows - the first I had no intention of shooting (Tori), the second photo passes were cut (Tegan & Sara). I wrote reviews instead, which is something I'm not confident at all in doing. 'The Con' show was really special, one of my favorite albums.
Tori Amos @ Beacon Theatre - Still going to see Tori after all these years. The Pool was magical!
Lana Del Rey from soundboard at Terminal 5
After another long week of reporting on sexual assault in the music industry, the Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade restored some of my faith in the universe.
Zombie crawlin' in the East Village.
I hate terrorizing the local deer population but I love getting pictures of them.
my iPhone says I walked 9.4 miles at Comic Con yesterday.
Two days down at Comic Con, two more to go. BrooklynVegan.com for more pictures.
what a great Mitski show at White Eagle Hall; current band lineup is the strongest I've seen her with yet, and for some reason I Don't Smoke bowled me over tonight like it never has before.
rooftop Gang Gang Dance show on Friday.
Interpol fans at Forest Hills Stadium for 'Turn on the Bright Lights' (which I still remember most of the words too)
Family, family. Insane Clown Posse fans, they're just like you & I (they just drink Faygo & wear face paint) Visit BrooklynVegan.com for more from my trip to D.C. to document The March of the Juggalos. #insaneclownposse #juggalos #juggalomarch #icp

two days down at the EDM festival, one to go.
I'm shooting Electric Zoo this weekend for the first time. It's very entertaining, even though an [obviously high] dude alarmed me by hugging me & telling me he loved me.
John Maus at Warm Up
Moor Mother at Warm Up
Took pictures at Webster Hall for the first time in 2008, last night I went to its final show in its present form.
Nine Inch Nails at Webster Hall! (aka somehow this is my first time seeing NIN, how is that even possible?)
Waxahatchee is electric-charged tonight more than I've ever seen her
I've seen Cayetana a bunch (they're great!) but it was a pleasure to finally photograph them from a photo pit
Japanese Breakfast at Union Pool's Summer Thunder
got off the PATH in Hoboken & discovered I hadn't entirely missed the fireworks after all.
Tfw you've wanted to go to the beach for weeks & when you finally make it there you want to turn around & leave (I stuck it out. But. Yeah. Whatever.)
Pride makes me emotional. I am a sap. Seeing people out celebrating being something you once denied in yourself is powerful. Visibility is powerful. Anyway, hope everyone who celebrated had a happy Pride. #pride2017
