Get to know your teacher, Lila Hunt!  She grew up in Dundas, Ontario and has spent 
Most of her adult life in Hamilton and Toronto. 
As a former dancer, Lila turned to yoga for the similar dynamics of flexibility and strength. “I draw upon the physical and mental lessons I learned through dance in my personal Mysore practice. As a teacher, I love presenting interesting and unfamiliar movement for minds and muscles to explore. Venturing outside the box takes us to places we didn’t know we were capable of reaching.” Stay “tuned” for sound meditations in the new year. She is currently refining her style and will have more to share with the Chandra community soon.  For now, you can find Lila teaching Guided Ashtanga, Bend, Vinyasa + Bend and Mysore.  She’s in the studio Saturday & Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings.

  • Get to know your teacher, Alena Dervisevic!  Alena was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina and grew up in Cambridge, Ontario. About 10 years ago she moved to Toronto, after studying at the University of Guelph for 4 years. 🌙
My inspiration for my own practice comes checking in with my mind and body and catering to whatever I feel I need. When it comes to teaching, my inspiration is varied: what some students need, or enjoy, themes I may be recognizing, images, and even other practitioners and teachers. 🌙
Alena loves enjoying new and traditional experiences with her family.  She is  completely in love with her two nieces and spends time with them colouring, drawing, crafting and playing!  When she's not on the mat, she can also be found spending quality time with friends, visiting new restaurants in the city, shopping, going to concerts, shows, or just chatting over tea.She likes to watch non-committal programming on Netflix or Hayu and read fiction, non-fiction and sometimes poetry. 🌙
