Recording a song today for Pt II of the #HomespunEP (pt I in bio) about how important it is we show up just as perfectly messy as we are. Don’t let this photo fool you. It took a lot of encouragement and effort to get out of bed and do something today. Sometimes our “mess” isn’t visible. I’m choosing to show up today but IT’S HARD YA’LL 🙌🏼💙
You do you, boo boo 💙
It’s really about putting music in the world that can help heal it. It helps heal me in the process. I’m working more on “In The Still & Homespun” 🙌🏼🏡 have you heard pt I? Have you seen the music video for What I’ve Done? HAVE YOU HAVE YOU 😍😍 The EP is on Spotify/iTunes/etc and the music video is on YouTube! #HomespunEP
Yesterday was National Coming Out Day. I came out to you all as Bisexual. It was a day of immense joy and empowerment, but it was also really difficult and heartbreaking. For those of you who have come out to your loved ones, you may know this experience. I just want to thank each and every one of you who responded to my video with love & empathy. I want to hug every one of you who messaged me about your own fears and uncertainties about your own sexuality. I value and validate each of you. I made this video for the sole purpose of letting you know you are loved, beautiful, and not alone. I have made myself smaller my whole life so that others found me more acceptable, respectable, and likable. But I will no longer stay small for others’ comfort - Freedom is too important. I hope to encourage freedom in your lives as well (but only if it is a safe place for you to do so). Thank you all for receiving me kindly💛. If you have questions about this topic, please go ahead and ask them either in the comment section or by emailing me at email@example.com ☺️ Oh yeah, if you wanna see the video, the link is in my bio!
Did I mention it’s freedom time? 🏳️🌈🔥Link in bio 🔥 🏳️🌈 // my story about my sexuality 🙌🏼 Happy #NationalComingOutDay beauties 💛
Thank you @katiemstockdale for helping me be a badass b. So excited and in love with this new hair for all the reasons. I have lived my life being so scared to rub someone the wrong way or disappoint people’s expectations of the way I look. Today I took back my power, said f you to fear, and did what I wanted to do because I wanted to do it. It may just be a haircut, but for me, it’s a symbol of freedom. Thank you for the sweet comments I love you all 💛
It’s Freedom time. Best decision. So empowering. And accidentally perfect for #WorldMentalHealthDay 💛💛 #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth
Blessing your timeline 🙏🏼
Remember to look up sometimes.
Changing every day. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
