Getting outside in nature does not come easy for me. I've always wanted to be an outdoorsy girl but usually prefer the creature comforts indoors. But I REALLY want my girls to love nature and appreciate God's creation. Plus it's just good for our souls to be outside! So far Meg loves the outdoors but Emma is struggling with a fear of bugs and she wants to run inside as soon as she thinks she hears a buzz. We're working on it together!
I knew he’d be a good dad when we got married. But I had no idea that he’d be THIS GOOD. His fierce protection and tender love allows our girls to bloom in confidence for they know that they are safe in him. When we talk about strength Emma often will say “is it as strong as Daddy and Jesus?” In her eyes, there is no one stronger than they! What a gift! I’m so thankful that it is Paul’s example of fatherhood that is shaping Meg and Emma’s perspective of a Heavenly Father. And thankful that his love is pointing them to the greatest Love of all. Happy Father’s Day @pd_schmitt! We are the 3 happiest girls in the world! 👨👩👧👧
Only a little nervous watching and waiting for more thunder. We don’t get much weather other than sunshine around here so it’s fun to take it in when we do! ⛈
So excited to send 8 inches of hair to @cwhl_org! No better way to do a summer cut 💇🏼♀️
