I've decided to sign off of social media. Maybe for now, maybe forever. I'm not sure. I just want to spend more time living life offline. Mostly because of these two and their Dad. I enjoy connecting here, but I'm such a fuller mother and more present wife when my phone isn't sneaking it's way into my heart and moments. So I'm setting it down, removing my temptation for distraction and soaking in the beautiful life the Lord has given me. A precious gift!
Not much sweeter than teatime with Emma! Today we reflected on our recent trip to the beach. She told me her favorite parts were finding starfish and seeing @goldieatsea. She also told me her favorite colors are bright pink, bright black and bright purple (basically my least favorites 🙅🏼♀️). Such dear moments with my girl who is growing so very very fast.
Enjoying our last day of Paul’s vacation in one of our favorite places! Oh Prescott, our sweet summertime escape.
Getting outside in nature does not come easy for me. I've always wanted to be an outdoorsy girl but usually prefer the creature comforts indoors. But I REALLY want my girls to love nature and appreciate God's creation. Plus it's just good for our souls to be outside! So far Meg loves the outdoors but Emma is struggling with a fear of bugs and she wants to run inside as soon as she thinks she hears a buzz. We're working on it together!
