This time last week we were on day two of a four day massive Aussie wedding festival held at @hmweddings out near North Berwick. It was an amazing shoot, with so much footage captured. We’ll blog about it soon but here’s an image which captures the spirit of the event. * * After playing cricket on the beach (we’d expect nothing less of our antipodean cousins) the guests got a massive bonfire going and laughed late into the night under a full canopy of stars. Magical. * * #tyninghame #visiteastlothian #aussiewedding
Instagramming an Instagram and the moment of instagramming. This is like flipping Inception.
It’s worth looking up occasionally. Holy antlerfest chandelier batman! One of the many quirky details around Drumtochty Castle.
Golden hour goodness with a cracking couple . . One year on since this sunset magic in the Borders.
“We booked Curious Robin Films to capture our wedding day after watching just one of their wedding’s highlight reels. In fact, it was before we had even set our wedding date, we loved the film so much! An excellent service was provided by all from start to finish, so easy to work with pre and post wedding (and a joy to be with on the big day itself!). We met Rob in the build up to the wedding to enable him to get a feel for what we were looking for and he captured it perfectly, with the final product being delivered in a wonderfully unique wooden box. Professional (but personable) throughout the whole process, you can tell Rob takes great pride in what he does, keeping in regular contact during the editing process post wedding to ensure we were happy, with even minor edits catered for. Thoroughly recommend using Curious Robin Films to anyone who is considering using a Videographer for their wedding, you will not be disappointed. We couldn’t sing Rob’s praises more.” . . . Cheesy grins all round here at CR Films HQ after receding the testimonial above from Nicola & Malcolm
Happy anniversary to this pair of legends. Happy days at Drumtochty.
This is just a wee pic from my iPhone but no camera could have done justice to the incredible li ght over Arran yesterday. Huge congrats to Sammy & Stevie. As Bridesman Jamie pointed out in his speech, absent friends are not absent and the rays of light breaking through brooding clouds is perhaps evidence of this. Great day at @seamillhydrohotel working with @photoseventyeight (cheers to @alfiemarshfilm for 2nd shooting work too). Some country we have here. #shotoniphone6s #lightroomcc
Weddings are always action packed days, so it’s a sensible groom or bride who gets a good breakfast in before the prep kicks off. Even more beneficial for filmmakers is when the groom decides to wistfully stare off in contemplation while waiting for the bagel to arrive.
