‘Twas a lovely California Christmas, complete with iced coffee, bare legs, and a sweater that is too warm for comfort.
Another matinee movie outfit to see The Disaster Artist. It completely lived up to my expectations and I’m so happy exists. Tommy Wiseau 4ever.
My work’s Christmas party tonight and I’m getting excited for lots of party food and drinks (okay let’s be honest, mostly food) 🎄🎉 I’m not really a big one for parties in general (talking to people is hard), but I love holiday parties. Anyone else feel the same?
Oh good, it’s that time of year where I regret wearing dresses because it’s so windy, but not enough to actually stop wearing dresses.
I haven’t bought myself any new clothes in two months, which, unfortunately, is probably some sort of record for me. With Christmas shopping and getting my brakes fixed (boo!), I’m trying to be frugal, which means I’m getting extra creative with remixing my closet. I got this dress for a wedding over the summer and haven’t touched it since. It’s too cute to collect dust so I finally dressed it down for a more casual look over the weekend. Who even needs new clothes? (Someone remind me that I said this when I’m buying 5 new dresses that all look alike in a month.)
What’s the point of even owning a pineapple dress if you don’t find a way to wear it all year long? 🍍
Getting real festive around here 🎄🙌
Is the work day over yet? My friends and I are having a viewing party of The Room (also known as the best worst movie of all time) tonight to prepare for The Disaster Artist coming out, and I seriously can’t wait. I’ve seen it more times than I can count (raise your hand if I ever made you watch it in college 🙋♀️), but it’s always the best. Who else is a fan? I’m pumped for all of the Oscar bait movies coming out, but to be honest, The Disaster Artist miiiight Be my most anticipated movie of the year.
GUESS WHAT: I actually put up a new blog post and I’m in full on Christmas mode. I’m sharing this outfit and talking about enjoying what little fall we get going into the holiday season and smelling like fall in human form thanks to @thebodyshop’s vanilla pumpkin line. Can’t it just be this season all year long?
Did anyone shop small and buy anything exciting this weekend? My brother and I decided to do Small Business Saturday for each other’s Christmas presents this year, and I’m pretty excited. Speaking of which, I want to live in this Plants Over People shirt from @shop.luella. I’m not great at keeping plants alive, but I *am* good at appreciating cute things from cute small businesses! So at least I have that going for me.
