You know how I've been having fun experimenting with bright, fun colors lately? Well, doing so has made it harder for me to style my favorite darker pieces. Luckily, I found a way to incorporate this @shopapricity back into my wardrobe, and I'm sharing it on the blog today.
This is going to be the most productive Sunday ever! *gets distracted by closet, decides to clean it out again, and spends too long taking pictures in this thrifted '70s dress while going back and forth about keeping it*
Why did no one tell me that I actually like cropped cardigans? I've been sitting here thinking I'd hate how they look on me. So much time wasted.
Hello, weekend? It's me, a person who can't wait to sleep in, even though we all know I'll be in bed by 9 pm and up by 7 am.
Last month I showed @sweetsandhearts a pair of ears made out of @riflepaperco fabric that I was thinking about buying, and she ended up being a true angel by saying she could easily make them for cheaper. I spent under $10 on two types of fabric (as opposed to the $30 + shipping I was seeing other places), and she whipped these up for me. Aren't they amazing? I'll probably be wearing these every time I go to to Disney from now on. (Also, say hello to my annoying bang part that likes to appear too often.)
So what *does* one wear to @museumoficecream? I couldn't wait to share some of these photos, so I've got a full post on my blog with the details of this outfit and my visit. It's basically just me smiling like an idiot next to pink things, which is probably what you expected.
On the blog today: my review of this dress from @uniquevintage that I finally snagged, these amazing ears that @sweetsandhearts made me, and how I've dealt with the natural embarrassment that comes with style blogging. P.S. I hope all my local friends are safe from the fire! My parents got evacuated, but are safe and were able to get their pets. It's right next to where I grew up, but far enough away from where I currently live and work. So scary!
I spent $30 and waited five months to basically just take a crap load of cheesy pictures of myself surrounded by pink things, and I have zero regrets. 📸: @sweetsandhearts
Don't hate me for this, but I'm not really a big Halloween person. It's just never been my thing. I have to admit, though, I'm kind of feeling the spirit this year. Maybe it's seeing so many cute Halloween-themed Instagram posts or maybe it's being at Disneyland so much during the season, but I'm feeling those vibes 🎃
Would you look at that? There's actually a blog post up today! I want to get back into the habit, and I'm starting with something I've been meaning to do for a while: a collection of all of the outfits I did full photo shoots for, but only ended up sharing on Instagram. Hop on over for a better look at some of my favorites (including this one)!
