My skincare routine has been a bit all over the place the past few months while I've been spending all my time at home. There were definitely some weeks when I wasn't consistent with my routine, my diet was filled with junk food and sugar and my skin was not happy at all. ... My usually oily skin became drier and I had way more breakouts and texture than normal. Within the last month I've made consistency a bigger priority and have been using masks and treatments more often as well. My skin is feeling worlds better now and I've even started to incorporate some new products recently which I can't wait to talk about.✨✨ ... Some of the products I've been using in the last month are consistent favorites: ▪️@reneerouleauskincare Anti-Bump Solution ▪️@leowithcancer Leo Oil ▪️@skinceuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense ▪️@belifusa Aqua Bomb

What I've been using to give my hair a bit of extra shine and smoothness. ✨✨ ▪️@olaplex Bonding Oil - It's taken months and months to make a dent in this bottle. I love adding a few drops to my damp ends after washing my hair and running any extra product though the rest of it. It helps my hair dry smoother and less dehydrated, without any greasiness. ▪️@deciem The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane - I typically add about half a dropper of this clear serum to my ends after washing my hair. It's been really helping my hair feel smoother and less frizzy when it dries, which is a big plus for me since I've just been letting my hair air dry during quarantine. I love both of these products because I can just run a few drops through my wet hair and let them do their thing to make my hair look smoother and shinier without actually having to do all that much. Who doesn't love a lazy girl hack? 😄

What I bought during the @sephora VIB sale ✨✨✨ ▪️@toofaced Born This Way Sculpting Concealer - A repurchase. I love this stuff! Great coverage but not as dry as shape tape. 💦 ▪️@tatcha Liquid Silk Canvas - I'm a huge fan of the original Silk Canvas primer and really wanted to try the liquid version because pump packaging is always best. 😄 ▪️@dphue Gloss+ and Root Touch Up Kit - I've used this root touch up kit for a couple of years now and I love it. It's easy to use and really does cover those pesky white hairs. I've used the Gloss a couple of times so far and it really does just have you a nice temporary wash of color for in between colorings. 💇🏻♀️ ▪️@theouai Wave Spray - Have repurchased many times. Love the subtle wave it gives my hair and that it doesn't leave a salty residue. 🌊 ▪️@amika Soul Food Nourishing Mask - I think I might have used this a few years ago (old packaging) but I bought it because a lot of people were recommending it. It's a really nice, thick hydrating hair mask and it has a really nice scent. A crowd pleaser. . . . . . . #sephoravibsale #sephora #dphue #amika #tatcha #kbeauty #kbeautyaddict #beautyaddict #beautymess #beautyflatlay #toofaced #skincareblogger #skincarereview #skincarejunkie #skincarecommunity #skincareroutine #haircareroutine #ouai #flatlaystyle #instaglam #itgtopshelfie #discoverunder5k

Some of the best skincare products I've tried in the past year are from @reneerouleauskincare. ✨✨✨ I learned about her products through a @carolinehirons video last year and was really intrigued by the way she classifies and organizes her products under 9 different skin types. There's even a handy quiz on her site so that you can figure out which you are. I'm a Type 4. I'm a big fan of everything I've tried so far and have actually gone through 3 of her Anti-Bump Solutions in the past year. That stuff is holy grail, especially if you get cystic acne or those red, under the skin bumps. It doesn't overly dry out my skin, it's a clear serum and it just gets the job done. I'll even use this on breakouts on my chest and it's magical. Seriously wonderful stuff. ♥️ Her Rapid Response Detox Mask is also so interesting to me because I feel like most masks for detoxifying and skin clearing usually have a thick or mud-like consistency. This mask is a golden gel that treats the issues while also feeling cooling and refreshing. 💦 I did really enjoy the cleanser as well but at the time it didn't really stand out to me. It's been a few months since I used it up and I've been using other things since and to be honest, I kind of miss it. 😔 I honestly took this photo last year when I had just bought the products and have since used up everything (and restocked and reused some). I'll definitely be placing a new order soon. 😄 . . Have you tried anything from Renée Rouleau? Any recommendations? ✨ . . . #skincarereview #reneerouleau #acnetreatment #oilyskin #skincareblogger #skincareaddict #skincarejunkie #skincareroutine #skincarecommunity #skinstagram #skincareflatlay #flatlay #beautymess #beautyflatlay #beautyaddict #beautyreview #instaglow #instabeauty

For me, my ideal fragrance is fresh, clean and not overpowering or heavy. 🍋✨ I was recently sent @elizabetharden's White Tea by @influenster to review and it perfectly fits the bill. It's refreshing and kind of addictive - the perfect summer fragrance. ☀️ . While I really enjoy the scent, it feels just slightly too mature for me. Lucky for me my mom actually has really similar taste when it comes to fragrances (she used to steal my perfume all the time 🙄) so she was more than happy to take it off my hands. 😄 . But seriously though, how gorgeous is this bottle? Clean, minimalist and chic - just like the fragrance. . What's your go-to summer fragrance? Any fresh and clean smelling recommendations?? ✨ . . . . #WhiteTeaMoments #contest #complimentary #beautyjunkie #beautyaddict #beautyflatlay #beautymess #fragrancecollection #elizabetharden #influenster #summerfragrance #leahalexandra #missoma #beautycommunity #beautyreview #perfumeaddict #perfumecollection #flatlay

I bought these products from @florencebymills ages ago but never really gravitated towards them. I've been using them a bit more lately because I feel like the minimalist feel lends itself to #WFH makeup for video calls so I'm finally feeling ready to break down my thoughts.💭 . . ✨ Like a Light Skin Tint - I had such high hopes that this was going to be an easy, light skin tint for no makeup makeup days when I bought it. Unfortunately, despite my oily combo skin, it actually accentuates dry spots. I can also really feel the product on my skin and it makes my skin feel a little bit itchy. I love the pump packaging but it just isn't it for me. 😔 . . ✨ Tint N Tame Brow Gel - I really love the idea of a skinnier brow gel wand but I usually just end up with blobs of product all around my brows that I have to clean up. Unfortunately this just doesn't work for me. . . ✨Cheek Me Later Cream Blush - Out of the products I purchased, this was my favorite. Pigmented enough but not so much that you have a hard time blending them out. Not my favorite cream blush formula ever but I do use it multiple times a week because it's easy to pop on and blend in. Of the two colors I bought, Shy Shi, the lighter of the two, is my favorite. . . . #florencebymills #ultabeauty #minimalmakeup #nomakeupmakeup #beautymess #beautyaddict #beautyflatlay #beautyjunkie #beautyreview #motd #makeupmess #makeupreview #makeupflatlay #makeupcollection #skincareblogger #skincareaddict #makeupcommunity #skincarecommunity #skincarereview

I may be working from home and not really wearing much makeup but one of my goals for this year has been to wear sunscreen every 👏 single 👏 day 👏. . This one from @skinceuticals is thin and doesn't make my oily/combo skin feel greasy or overly shiny. It's also slightly tinted which means you don't get a white cast and it evens out your skin tone just that tiny bit which makes me feel better without makeup.✨✨✨ . . . #skincarereview #skincareaddict #skincarejunkie #skincareroutine #wfh #springskincare #skincarecollection #skincarecommunity #skinstagram #instaglam #dermstore #skinceuticals #skincareblogger #beautyaddict #beautyreview #beautycommunity

2019 was a year that brought me lots of changes and continued growth. It sounds hokey but I'm excited to continue to work on my goals, big and small, and take pride in all my baby steps. 2020 will be what we make it. ♥️ ... Realized I never posted this picture that @m_e_ara took back in October (which I really loved) so I'm squeezing it in before the end of the year! ✨✨✨ .
