The old railway trail around King’s Tor and the Big Thaw.
10kms on High Dartmoor today and the remnants of the Big Snow. Walking the old railway track around King’s Tor (closed in 1956) it wasn’t hard to see how the trains would get stuck in the cuttings
Took full advantage of the recent meteorological gift to defrost the freezer. Virtuous ✅ for Bookhound who skilfully managed the thaw of the Miele ice shelf & frequent calving of newborn icebergs.
