Veggies-Protein-Fat. This is a trick I teach my clients and EatSLIM members. I call it the ideal plate ratio, and if you remember this, you can eat healthy ANYWHERE! You won’t be hungry an hour after completing a meal, and you’ll fuel your body with the nutrients it needs to keep you strong, energized, and healthy. 1️⃣ 50-75% plate = veggies These provide fiber and nutrients Here I used broccoli and purple sweet potato 2️⃣25% of plate= protein Here I used 2 organic pasture raised eggs If you’re vegan, you can get enough protein from plants, but you must ensure that you actually do! Unless you’re vigilantly including protein in adequate amounts at every meal, it’s easy to fall short. Fat=topping/dressing Here I used half an avocado and cooked everything in olive oil. I sometimes eat whole avocado but I had to split this one with bae bc last one 😅 he cut it btw not me 😅 Want to learn more? Intuitive Cooking: AKA how to make a delicious meal out of whatever is in your fridge.🤗 🔸 This meal was SOOO good, flavorful, and satisfying, but I didn’t use a specific recipe, I used my intuitive cooking formula. 🔸 I teach this to my clients and members of my EatSLIM course (next round starts in January and enrollment just opened). 🔸 This is a quick stirfry ready in 15 min or less. 🔸 Start with Aromatics: ginger, garlic, onions, scallion, fennel, or a mix of any of the above to create instant flavor. Here, I used ginger, garlic, and red onion. 🔸 Next, add spices for even more flavor (and health benefits). Here I used turmeric, mustard seed, chipotle powder, cumin, and black pepper. 🔸 Next is a serving of protein. Here I used black beans. 🔸 Then it’s veggie time: I used a mix of zucchini and broccoli stem noodles (aka what I had in my fridge) 🔸 Cook it all for about 7 minutes, top with pink salt, black pepper, and avocado, and voila, your instant flavorful healthy meal is done!
