This kid has become obsessed with filming and cameras. He loves to take the GoPro whenever we are out and is already more aware of paying attention to his subject than his siblings. Today I was trying to film the kids and he insisted on being behind the lens.
So many little snowmen all in a row ⛄️
I love a good excuse to play with an edit!! The showbiz crew is ready for the holiday season.
Editing done for tonight. A senior gallery has been sent off. Now some sleep because tomorrow brings more editing and a long marathon of Christmas photos. 🎄
Christmas PJ minis coming up Nov. 30. Message me to book a slot. Morning slots available. These are going to be in Waldorf near Dr.Mudds house.
Little guy is napping, big kids are riding bikes, and I’m finishing up this session. Then off to the grocery store. I never use to understand why my Mom hated grocery shopping but man do I get it now.
The kids have been all about art lately so yesterday we made galaxies. Hayden ended up doing his own thing because he was grumpy but Ava and I took a skillshare class. Ava’s is the one with the yellow. She said to make sure people knew which one was hers 🤣 not sure if that’s her way of telling me she did better 🤔
Got the first half of the first holiday project done. I wanted a countdown to Christmas for our homeschool area. Although we will be taking time off our studies for December we will still be doing art and science. I need to start working on our list of advent activities for our family advent calendar too. I don’t know why I don’t do these things in August.
Late as per usual but it’s November so I need to drag myself out of denial. Winter is coming 💀🥶 Time to prep for the Holidays and the cold. I’ve taken on way less sessions this year. Sticking only to minis mostly for fall so I’m grateful my burnout level isn’t nearly as high as years past. I realized last year that with homeschooling I needed to be more focused on home but I’m not ready to quit. I still love documenting my clients and their families but I’ve backed down on the amount of sessions I can take on. I’m grateful for the balance this season. Now to just get myself in the right headspace for the holidays. I started my morning with my first holiday project so hopefully that helps.
My bride of death, dead man, and Dino had a great time tonight. Fun fact Hayden’s pants once belonged to my grandfather when he was a kid. I’ve always said he reminds me so much of him and sure enough these pants fit perfectly. Ava got a ton of compliments on her makeup to which I’d tell her you’re welcome 🤣 Holdie Bear wouldn’t wear his Dino head till we got there and I of course didn’t get a picture. I think I got it on the GoPro but who knows. He had fun though. He did some trick or treating and mostly rode in the stroller. Wish people didn’t pressure kids so much to say trick or treat though. I don’t feel like explaining that he doesn’t talk and they just stare at him waiting on a response. I promise he’s not rude. Most people were great with him though and of course he didn’t notice the others anyways. 🎃🦇👻💀🖤 Now I guess I better start convincing myself it’s fall 🤣😂😬
