Miami Today reports that Brickell City Centre is seeing double digit growth in foot traffic month after month. Ninety-two percent of the retail is leased, with 82% of tenants open. Office space is 100% leased and the East Hotel has a 75% occupancy rate. With a sustainability-driven design, Arquitectonica and ArquitectonicaGEO set out to create a mixed-use community hub that would be experienced more as a destination rather than a mall. With all the accolades and the high percentage of occupancy across the board, it seems to be working. . . . #Brickellliving #urbanliving #sustainabledesign #ArquitectonicaGEO #SwireProperties
Raymond Fort, a designer for Arquitectonica, took part in a panel discussion today presented by LAB Ventures, regarding the impact of technology on construction and design. He commented that not only is technology changing the way architects design buildings with the use of 3D tools such as Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM), but also the technology consumers use to shop online are changing the way designers allocate space. With the abundance of packages ordered on a daily basis, more thought has to go into the planning of mailrooms and deliveries which takes up valuable lobby space. . . . #FORE2018 #MiamiRealEstate #technology #BIM #3Dtools

During the opening of the Venice Biennale last week, we launched Arquitectonica, the new 400-page monograph that showcases the firm’s designs over the last 40 years. Founding principal Bernardo Fort-Brescia was joined by surprise guests Chevy Chase and his longtime friend and photographer Peter Aaron, who is also a friend of the firm. As it turns out Chevy is an avid fan of architecture, its history and the stories and ideas behind how designs come to life. Bernardo, Chevy and Peter shared some laughs and discussions of architecture around the world.
All are welcome to join us Saturday at the opening of the Venice Biennale. The European Cultural Centre invites you to come raise a toast at Palazzo Michiel for a worldly celebration as we commemorate the first 40 years of Arquitectonica with the launch of the much anticipated, Arquitectonica, written by Alastair Gordon. This retrospective presents a breadth of projects from the firm's earliest moments through to present day, where it continues to stand at the vanguard of design. The book, available to the public on July 3rd, covers the firm's accomplishments from its earliest as well as most recent projects — from the archetypal and hugely influential Pink House and Atlantis, to the Regalia, its twenty-first century masterwork of undulant glass and steel, and Brickell City Center, its transformative take on urban mixed-use that points to a new future, as the firm’s work has since its inception. . . . #VeniceBiennale #PalazzoMichiel #EuropeanCulturalCentre #Rizzoli #RizzoliUK #booklaunch #monograph #architecture #architecturearoundtheworld #Arquitectonica #bookreviews #dezeen #archdaily #archdigest #archrecordmag #architectmag #hospitalitydesign #interiordesign #lifeswork #publishing
