The Baraat is my favorite part of Indian weddings. It’s the groom’s procession full of dancing, loud music and drums while the groom often rides a mare to eventually be greeted by the bride’s family. These are photos from Shashank & Jaeah’s wedding at The Schermerhorn Symphony center a few months back. It was a huge procession and the drums were almost painfully loud so Nashville tourists walking around downtown seemed to be mesmerized. In a few of the photos here you can see the bride and a few of her friends getting a birds eye view of the groom from the balcony of the symphony center. #indianwedding #indianweddingbuzz #indianweddingdecor #indianweddingdress #baraat #baraathorse #nashvilleweddingphotographer #indianweddingphotography #southasianbride #southasianwedding #maharaniweddings
We decided to do Kim’s maternity portraits at the Wilson County Fair. It was a blast to hang out with them. I photographed their wedding back in 2012 and getting to see my couples’ families grow is one of the aspects of my job that I love the most.
Jenner Fox is a seriously talented songwriter who was in town last week for the Americana festival.
A few from a wedding I photographed recently at a resort off of the Sunshine Coast of Brittish Columbia a few hours from Vancouver. The groom is an old friend and childhood soccer teammate. It was great to spend the weekend with some familiar faces so far away from Nashville.
