Shoe love. I have always been a shoe girl and these @prada pumps were perfection for a New Years Eve wedding! In fact, they are inspiring me to start a section in our saved stories devoted just to wedding shoes, so keep an eye out! Photo @abbyjiu
No words. This picture is just too perfect, from the stunning @mogo16 in her @bertabridal gown to her dapper husband in a perfectly tailored tux. Add the always stunning entrance to @mellonauditorium_eventemissary and it’s simply perfection. Photo @abbyjiu | gown from @carinesbridal
A dramatic head table for a special Greek wedding at Congressional Country Club. Featuring a hanging floral installing from @amaryllisinc, mirrored tabletop and candle runner. We love to create dramatic moments like these where guests attention will be all night long. Photo @abbyjiu
Interrupting our regularly scheduled wedding posts to bring you a few more pictures of our sweet Harper Rose. For more personal, lifestyle, pregnancy, mommy and Harper updates feel free to follow me @laurynharn as well! Thankful to @abbyjiu for capturing these extra special moments of our new family.
We are overjoyed to welcome our little love, Harper Rose Harn, to the world. She was born yesterday, April 18, 2018 at 10:40am. She is a healthy peanut at 5lbs 11oz and 19.25 inches long. We are overwhelmed with joy and love for our baby girl already - with @michael_harn.
We typically say no to favors but a big YES to welcome boxes! What a perfect way to welcome guests who have taken the time and money to travel in town for your wedding, and to share some local or personal flare as well. Our formula for the perfect box is something to drink, something savory, something sweet and a keepsake. These pretty boxes in soft blue hues were designed for a wedding in Annapolis and gave a nod to waterfront local in a sophisticated way. They featured blue Saratoga Spring water, a custom crab mallet, our favorite Chesapeake Barnacle Mix, salt water taffy, a revelry remedy kit and a lavender and sea salt bath bomb. Sweet as a rose. A flowering topiary from @jacksondurhamevents shows that not all topiaries have to be green. When planning out your floral vision don’t forget about locations other then dining tables- such as bars or entrance pieces that help make the event feel well thought out and cohesive. Savoring every minute of alone time I can with @michael_harn before our baby girl joins us soon. Thank you for being my support, best friend and family for the past decade (10+ years!!). I look forward to this next chapter in our lives, but can’t help but be anxious for it to not just be the two of us anymore. Did anyone else experience this feeling too? There is something so festive, fun and just “wedding” about a special exit. Be it from your church ceremony or at the end of the reception, consider some sort of formal exit and be sure to book your photographer timing appropriately too! Lavender or flower petals are two of our favorite eco friendly options for post-ceremony exits...and we unapologetically also still love the basic but beautiful sparkler exit at the end of the night too!
