Summer + my kids + adventure = some of my favorite days⠀
One of my favorite Internet searches when planning travel is non-touristy. I probably need a more substantial term than this, but Google seems to get my drift.
THIS WEEK A SPOT OPENED UP ON OUR UGANDA TEAM. Our Uganda trip is really being to take shape, and I'm super stoked about the team that we have and the opportunities that have been put before us. We have enough photographers; but if you shoot video, you might be the perfect person to fill up this spot on our team. The dates are October 31-November 10. If this is something you’re interested in, reach out to me with your portfolio. ⠀
My first girl's birthday is today. She strong and brave and stubborn and soft-hearted. I just love this chickie to pieces. pic credit: @angelanewtonroyphotography
There was one day on our trip last month that I wasn't thrilled about. It was a day full of travel with a little too much time to kill as we waited in between bus and train in a random city. I told my husband a couple days beforehand that it was the one day I wish we could skip. He asked me, What if we just enjoy the adventure and just determine to have fun in the moment that day? He's continually pushing me to be present in the moment and not live in the future. And guess what? We had incredible day and even found time to sneak overe to a beautiful monastery that sat white against the bluest of blue skies as we soaked up the sunshine. So this picture is a reminder to me of how my attitude can change the trajectory of my day. And how much I love my man.⠀
