Any Bike, Anywhere! Westlake - Agoura Hills - Calabasas - The Valley - Woodland Hills (the fun way): Those of you who have bicycled along the 101 corridor between Agoura Hills / Las Virgenes and Calabasas / The Valley will know that we always have to cross over to the north side of the 101 for that one stretch on Mureau. That has always irked me, so about two years ago I figured out how to stay on the south side of the 101 by riding the Anza Loop Trail instead. Until today, I had only done that while going westbound and in the dry season; today I went east and it was wet for a stretch. However, I did spy a singletrack that looks like it bypasses the wet stretch which I will check out in a day or two. I love this stuff! @rawlandcycles #roughriding #anybikeanywhere
Swipe left for some “Any Bike, Anywhere” action! I am so stoked to discover some new dirt roads that connect epic canyon climbs! Wrong turns so often turn out to be just right! Today’s adventures included ascents of Santa Susana Pass, Lilac, and Mesa Drive, then a descent of Box Canyon. This is in the northwest corner of the San Fernando Valley, AKA “The Valley.” I rode my @rawlandcycles Nordavinden “road bike” with 700c by 27mm tyres. #roughriding #anybikeanywhere #rawlandcycles #dirtroads #underbiking #DoingARealSportOnSuperBowlSunday
