Dark room twigograms 😄 Loving it so much in there! So much more experimenting to do. Now for the next step, printing these somehow to fabric or hessian. Hmm. . . . What are you all up to? Tell me, tell me. . . . #darkroom #photogram #wecreate
More from life drawing class today. There are tiny parts I love in each of these and I loved the technique of unconsciously sketching really lightly, not really looking at the paper and then gradually working in darker and darker. Will try this again. . . . #lifedrawing #figuredrawing #wecreate
Life drawing class today, I really enjoyed this one, really feel like I took some good ideas away from it. . . . #lifedrawing #figuredrawing #wecreate
Fun with reflections when at Maidstone museum the other day. Trying to catch the horror posters over the top of the birds. In my head I was being all clever and simulating Photoshop layers. In truth, I was just having way to much fun having the museum pretty much all to myself. . . . . #reflection #corvid #horrorart
Skull (medieval) from my trip to the museum the other day. . . . #skulladay
This is were-bat-bunny. Another older piece that went through the super duper uni scanner. It was inspired by local folklore, I come from a small island where there are jokes galore about inbreeding. I decided to play on that and create a new folklore mashing wildlife that is abundant here. . . . I am so pleased how this has come out - this one holds a lot of meaning for me personally. I had just discovered lino printing and how mediative the carving can be. It will always be a favourite I think. Is there that one technique that you go to as a relax and zone out? . . .
