Sat at my desk earlier and snuck in some drawing when I should have been doing paperwork. No matter how often I clear this desk off it's still cluttered when I come to sit down. I think my magic elves are mischievous ones! How do you work? I see so many pristine work spaces, how do you do it? . . . . .
I've separated my blog into two blogs. One for arty posts and one for the more personal (and really long) weekly waffling. I'd love for you to stop by the new art blog and say hello - link in my profile. It's just so that people who come looking for the art don't have to sift through my weekly positivity mind dumps to find it. It's a bit bare at the moment but will soon start to fill up. Also, when I start the Illustration & Animation degree in September, I'll be sharing my progress on there - as well as here, but in more detail there. Hopefully see you there x . . . . .
This is the massive and gorgeous @phlegm_art piece that @watkins1848 led us to. I apologise both to the artist and you all as my photos do not do it justice. It really is huge and I haven't managed to get the whole picture. (Not the first time. Ahahaha!) I am working on my camera skills or lack of. I've included a picture of @thelostdogsart doing one of her selfies for scale. (Swipe left) It's in Heneage Street, near Brick Lane. I recommend if you are in that area of London, try and find it. . . .
I love the art all over these walls but also the texture created by the weathered layers and layers is just gorgeous. (Swipe left to see more) These were in the Brick Lane area of London, we did so much walking and I don't know London well so I couldn't say where but walls like this were abundant. A feast for the eyes.
Obligatory selfie with @thelostdogsart I can't post many of the pictures I took yesterday. For some reason Instagram is not recognising them in my camera feed. So have this one, I promise there is an absolutely amazing full wall Phlegm piece behind us. I'll post it on FB for those who follow me on there. . . Great day, great friend, lots of rain, lots of beautiful street art. Loved it. . . .
Had a great day in London yesterday. Had me a personal guided street art tour with one of the best people in the world, Sarah aka @thelostdogsart and her super knowledgeable partner Jay aka @watkins1848 . . Many, many of hours of walking included some seriously gorgeous art. Was super chuffed to see some @mydogsighs in real life! Swipe left to see a Lost Dog find a My Dog! (Told you I'd steal that Sarah! 😆 ) . . .
