Breakfast in bed? What Sundays are made for... After that's done we've got a bit of a manic day ahead running errands so I'm going to savour every last minute of this bliss ✌🏻 Enjoy your day ✌🏻
Woohoo! The weekend is finally here. Hoping for more adventures with this one in it // Finally blogged on the brilliant @theburlappeople earlier today - makers of eco friendly, beautiful bags. I chatted to Sam, 1 of the 3 behind the company to hear about their green making process and burlap dreams. Have a read- their story is a goody. As for their bags, well, this one comes with us on all our adventures! 👌🏽🌿
My dear England friends are sending me pictures of wild garlic carpets now spring has sprung and I'm hankering for a forage! Foraging is one of my beloved hobbies I haven't been able to play out in South Africa and really miss. To be able to recognise plant life is a real privilege and I forgot how much it takes to be able to do so landing in a new place with new vegetation! Back to square 1 🌿
A very wise woman told me you should start your day by lighting a candle and giving thanks. It can be a delightfully helpful tool to centre and ground yourself before the day unfurls around you. She forgot to say that this should swiftly be followed by tea with her! (See you in a minute T!) What morning rituals do you have?
Standing on the edge of the Monday ahead and I am already beyond grateful for the public holiday tomorrow! Stay strong people ✌🏻💪🏽
Weather should never determine if you go outdoors or not (unless it's dangerous of course). Some of my favourite adventures have been had when Mother Nature makes herself known and opens the skies while your trundling over the hills or on a trail run. It brings an energy that makes you feel most alive. Today's rainy day adventures with my love are no exception. Hope your Sunday is a good one - ☔️ or ☀️
