#fall2018memories #oldschool #stilllifephotography #still_life_gallery #womeninphotography #clickmagazine I finally took the open challenge by @dolphia.nandi . Love her clicks and even more, the kind of passion that kinds of speaks for itself through her photographs. Best part of this challenge is that you are up against yourself. Everyone is a winner that is if you are ready to learn. And since we don't have a real fall season in India, I looked through a whole bunch of pictures to get the feel of it. And I took a long time to come up with something that I really liked. Are you going to challenge yourself??
#glassphotography #nikon #womeninphotography #moodyclicks #blackandwhite #nikor35mm Glass and light!! A marriage made in heaven when done right. But trust me it's tough to master this one because too much light means glares / reflections and on the other hand too low light doesn't do justice to the transparent nature of glass. I have seen a lot of photographers using backlight and a dark background for these kind of images. So that is what I have gone it. While I can think of at least a dozen improvements, I personally loved the play of light and shadows in this click. Too beautiful not to be shared with you guys. Shot in low natural back light without tripod. F/2.5, ISO 1600 and shutter speed 1/25th of a second.
#ingredients #bittergourd #womeninphotography #diabeticfood #onmytable #plantbaseddiet #veganfood Got my hands on these little brutes after a long time!! Though they are a lot less bitter than their bigger siblings, they too can leave a bitter aftertaste (pun intended) if not done the right way!! Making a stuffed version for tomorrow's lunch. Watch out instastories for the recipe...
What is it that terrifies you most when composing a shot?? #photographylife #nikon #womeninphotography #teatime For me it is glassware and whites!! The former tends to catch lights at all odd angles (a diffuser helps in some cases ) and the latter highlights anything and everything that is flawed ( never mind that we are all a bit dented and deranged in parts ) ..... But I am trying to overcome my fears and work on it. Any tips will be greatly appreciated :) What is your biggest fear when it comes to clicking that perfect picture ??
I have a thing for shrooms 😀😀 #plantbaseddiet #whatveganseat #mushrooms #superfoods #protein #thefeedfeedvegan #onmyplate #lunchprep
#plantbaseddiet #whatveganseat #onmyplate #thekitchn #bakedeggplant Know what sets apart those despicable cockroaches from the mighty dinosaurs? Along with the obvious physical dissimilarities, there lies a much enviable trait ! The ability to adapt...... Whether it's the work environment or the safe confines of one's home, adaptability is one skill that comes in handy on an everyday basis. And 'amazingly adaptable' is just the word for these eggplant boats. While this version has the scooped out boats stuffed with Quinoa, red pepper and eggplant tossed in Sriracha sauce and baked in an oven, one can swap the quinoa with pasta/leftover rice/daliya and even cook it on a skillet!!
#Vinayakchaturthi #foodgawker #thekitchn #thefeedfeed Still obsessing over the #modak clicks even as my head is buried deep in a stack of books 😁😁😁 this weekend!! What does your weekend look like?? #photographylife #photographers_of_india #photographersofinstagram #festivalvibes
A belated #Vinayakchaturthi post!! #india #festival #modak #sweets #traditionalrecipe Ganapati Bappa arrived yesterday and kick started the Hindu festive season which usually lasts till November. As expected, I had my hands full with the decor, organizing the Pooja and preparing the prasad. As modaks and laddoos are mandatory on this day, I prepared sesame laddoos and modaks with three different kinds of stuffings. After preparing a huge batch and finishing the Pooja, I was somehow able to muster enough energy to arrange the food, climb on a stool and click a couple of shots in my quest of the perfect flatlay 😁 !! Yay ! More power to the collective madness of womankind 😁 ....
#moodphotography #fallseason #guava #plantbaseddiet #onmytable A picture is all about words. Actually a whole lot of them. Enough to fill out an entire frame. Enough to make sense when juggled into certain permutations and combinations. Enough to fill out a few pages. Maybe inspire a story that does just that. And some more too!!
