In October, we looked for students who displayed a significant amount of responsibility. We hold our students to a high standard and proud that they continually exceed expectations. Congratulations to this wonderful group of students for taking ownership and being dependable.
There was a sweet aroma lingering in the school café! Our annual sweet potato harvest yielded 60 pies. This baking event is a New Hope family undertaking. PK students brushed, upper school students peeled, Garden Club members peeled and prepped, and cafeteria staff and two after school groups prepared the delicious pies. We hope all who support our Farm enjoy their tasty treat. #HandsOn
PK and JK students were delighted to find a new climbing structure in their area of the Forest. We appreciate Danny Howard, Elm Grove United Methodist Church, for building the new addition. The structure was intentionally designed to encourage gross and fine motor skills, but most importantly, be fun! Students learned how to operate a pulley and practiced climbing on their miniature climbing wall. #HandsOn #outdoorclassroom
Happy Veterans Day!
