Lack of pipelines costs our western Canadian energy producers billions, and makes no sense while we have abundant Canadian oil that can replace foreign oil we STILL import. Our nation simply can’t pretend everything is OK, as market access continues to suffer. We need to get these pipelines built.
Excited to see the next stage of the DEEP Geothermal project, Canada’s FIRST Geothermal power plant. Thank you to the federal government for being a partner in making this project a reality. With a diverse mix of hydro, natural gas, wind, clean coal, solar, biomass, and now geothermal, Saskatchewan can tap into an abundance of cleaner energy, lower our emissions, and we can do it WITHOUT imposing a carbon tax on our families and job creators!
What a great opportunity last week for an audience of Saskatoon students to connect live with two “Dave” astronauts, one one earth, and one in space. Thanks to Dave Williams and David Saint-Jacques for inspiring our next generation of space explorers. 🚀
Proud to support pipelines for greater market access for Canadian energy. #Repost @oilsandsaction ・・・ Thank you @premierscottmoe for supporting a strong and competitive resource sector. 🌾 ⛽️ The 🌎 needs more 🇨🇦 Let’s get #EnergyEast and #TransMountain built and work to attract job creating investment to our country. #saskatchewan #canadaaction
By the numbers, Saskatchewan’s exports to China have increased 313% between 2007 and 2017 and Saskatchewan Potash makes up 22% of all Chinese potash imports. A new agreement between Mosaic and Sinochem, China's largest Agricultural inputs company, means those numbers will only climb higher. With help from industry-led trade missions and participation from governments, we can continue marketing even more Saskatchewan exports to the world!
Layne Matechuk is back on the ice for the first time since the @sjhlbroncos bus crash. Welcome back Layne. 💚💛 #humboldtstrong
Thanks to everyone who came out to the @canadaaction rally at the Leg today. On bitterly cold days like this, it's a good reminder of the importance of life-sustaining Canadian energy that keeps us warm here in Saskatchewan, and across the nation. We won't stop fighting for this vital industry and all it provides for our Canada.
A very Merry Christmas to Ukrainians and Orthodox Christians across Saskatchewan celebrating tonight and tomorrow. Khrystos Rozhdayetsia!
As temperatures have been up and down the last few weeks, I’ve heard many people talk about unstable ice conditions across the province, including a few close calls. Please remember to check the ice before going out on a truck, sled, or even ice fishing. If it’s not thick enough, it’s not worth the risk.
