I see you, friend. You out there who feels like you don’t measure up. Like you need to buy this, or be that, or change into a different, more Instagram-worthy version of you. • Just remember that life isn’t in Instagram. The good moments don’t happen in these squares, and real camaraderie isn’t fostered in the comments section. • Some people spend their time doing everything they can to cultivate a life that matters and is meaningful, while other people are doing everything they can to just make it through another day. • I see you, friend. No matter where you are in life, or what your circumstances look like, remember that you are loved, and seen, and prayed for. • Image photographed on #fujifilm #fuji400h #film and scanned by @thefindlab.
My most important job on a wedding day is to photograph the people. It’s to photograph the emotions of the day and the memories being made. Without a doubt, this is always my main priority. • But I always make a point to get in really close and photograph the tiniest of details of the day too. Because how cool would it be to have beautiful artwork hanging on your walls that came straight from the beauty of your wedding day? I like to focus on the flowers and the surrounding trees—mostly because isn’t nature and pretty landscapes the best images to hang on the walls in our homes? Here are just a few of my favorite up-close details from my last wedding with @hannah_stone26 + @jarretjstone. These are some of the images I’d hang in the living room if it were my wedding. (And let’s be honest, I might just hang some of these in my house anyway. 😂) • The second one is a tree showing off the raindrops we got that day, and the rest were up close details from the bridal bouquet.
