With kids home, more time at home and work to do.... we're all a little tense. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I talked to a few friends about ways to naturally get rid of anxiety naturally and they had SO many good ideas! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here's what I do to cope with stressful times:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ First, I limit caffeine. I don't want to do this one y'all, but I think I'm going to switch to tea 😩 Wish me luck! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Next, I dab on essential oils. The blend "Stress Away" has been amazing for me! You could simply do lavender as well! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Lastly, I turn on upbeat music that makes me happy and GO OUTSIDE. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How do you keep yourself balanced and stay positive during unpredictable times? As much as I want to keep just posting pretty photos, this needs to be said. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Honestly guys, the Corona virus has me feeling like Two-Face from Batman. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Because on the one hand, there are a lot of unknowns out there and literally the entire world is taking life day-by-day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On the other hand, I've always been optimistic and hopeful. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When there are unsure times, we can focus on what we CAN control. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We can focus on our thoughts and our attitude. And truth be told, as much as we love social, we should take a look at how much of our negative thoughts are being influenced by others in our feed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When our minds wonder to "what if..." we can refocus them to something positive and helpful. We can refocus them to gratitude. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Practice gratitude, even when it can be a challenge. There is always something to be grateful for, today more than ever. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am thankful for FaceTime. I am thankful for the members of the Corona Task Force in DC. I'm thankful for the *REST* each day (something we #Enneagram3s can struggle with from time to time 🙃) in the form of reading, playing and exercise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What 3 emojis would you use to describe how you feel during this time? ⬇️
When I was pregnant with my oldest, I ate fruity pebbles all the time. Like, every single day.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After he was born, I stopped eating them. So, this is weird confession, but maybe someone can relate. 10+ years later, I’ve re-discovered my love of fruity pebbles and it’s a PROB.LEM (ps they’re gluten free so they’re basically health food right?). I feel like a 5 year old wanting sugary, junky cereal every day, but man, SO DELICIOUS. Fruity pebbles, you have my heart 😂 I workout multiple times a week + am gluten free so… balance, right? 😝 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So I have a really important question ... What’s your all time favorite cereal?
