Good morning from the farmers market / playground!
A little more Italy for you fine party people. This street is in Volterra, a lofted town which honestly felt a bit spooky, filled with old souls and stories. We could have wandered much more than we did and still only scratched the surface.
So we went to Tuscany last week, and I took hundreds of photos and posted none of them, mostly because zen and the art of toddler maintenance took up 1000% of my daily energy. Now we’re back, and if you don’t mind a series of serious #latergrams, I’ll share some of my favorites here and there. ❤️
I DO IT!!!
Brunch with wonderful friends at a place with lattes, fresh OJ, and plenty of space and toys for kids to play? Yes please. Can it stay Saturday forever? ❤️🍳☕️
Sometimes you shrug and decide to go for a walk with your needy kiddo instead of going for a run like you planned, just because he seems like he really really does want to, and that's kind of nice in its own way, then you say OK, why not when he asks to walk past the fire station, and then while he's admiring the engines napping behind their closed garage doors, a firefighter opens a window upstairs and shouts down to ask if he'd like to take a closer look, and then opens up the door and lets him climb all over the fire engine, ambulance, and little red chief's car. And that, my friends, is how to make a little boy's day, and his mama's too. ❤️
