Trying not to focus too much about what next school year is going to look like. But, I was just thinking... At the beginning of the school year I always spend time modeling (and practicing) appropriate read to someone procedures. Elbow, elbow, knee, knee, I read to you, you read to me. With social distancing, I do not see how reading to someone is going to work this year. Any suggestions? #teachersfollowteachers #teachingduringapandemic

Ok, I was probably a little late to the screen glasses party, but these little readers saved my eyes during the last month or so of distance learning.👓 My eyes were so dry and itchy. I thought it was from not sleeping well. I ordered these screen readers to see if they might help. I could tell a difference (for the better) immediately. Walking out of my classroom on the last day of school, so much is unknown and extremely overwhelming. I have to believe that things are eventually going to be okay. My prayers continue to be with the leaders that are making the important decisions that shape the way schools move forward during this time. Oh my goodness, I’ve loved Boom Cards during our distance learning. To be honest, I knew about them, but have never really taken the time to put them to use. Paperless, self-checking, and super easy to use...I can’t believe I didn’t use them sooner.
