A pretty tablescape for your Thursday.
Ring shots are always some of my absolute favorites! There are no two engagement rings that are exactly a like and I always love hearing the story behind the details. . Taken while second shooting for @verleebishop
This is why I encourage all of my brides to choose a getting ready space with lots of natural light! . . . . #emilyannphotography #dcweddingphotographer #dcweddings #greatmarshestatewedding #greatmarshestate #virginiaweddingphotographer #virginiaweddings #2018bride #2019bride #pursuepretty
The rain can go, but these cooler temps have me so excited for FALL! Who’s with me?!
Still in awe at how beautiful Saturday was!
Y’all, yesterday’s wedding was so beautiful I could cry!! From the illustration artist, haiku poems, violinist, wedding favors, stunning florals, amazing band, to the handmade jewelry made by one of Morgan’s bridesmaids. I was absolutely blown away by all of the thought that went into each and every detail of their special day. Yesterday was magical and I’m so thankful you trusted me with capturing your beautiful day! . Congratulations Morgan and Josh! XOXO . YAY for FRIDAY! Im Emily and I’m so grateful for all of those new around here! This photo was taken by my dear friend @remythompsonphotography a little over a year ago! This is when I decided I was going to take the leap and begin my dream business as a photographer. . During this time, I knew there was SOOOO much I needed to learn. When I bought my first DSLR, the Canon 80D, the first thing I did was put that sucker in Manual mode. I thought, I didn’t spend all of that money to just photograph in auto! . I remember taking my first workshop and learning the basics about iso, aperture and shutter speed and Oh My Goodness, how in the world would I ever be able to figure it out?! AND do it fast enough when I had people standing in front of me! Scary right?! . So you know what I did, I practiced. I continued to step outside of my comfort zone, I signed up for multiple workshops where I got to learn from the best, and I even planned my own styled shoots! . When I was scrolling through all of the photos on my hard drive last weekend, I couldn’t help but smile! This past year has been one amazing adventure and I’m so thankful for your support! 🙌🏼
