Yesterday we had a very hectic day, where we helped 4 startups to re-think their products through a Define and Decide workshop, using Design Sprint exercises, during the Hackathon - Startup Challenges by Rubik Hub. It was challenging and took a lot of energy, but it was fun. It is always fun with these 3 next to me. Trying to describe my feelings regarding this photo, regarding this team, regarding @uxdotrocks is not easy. ^_^ These 3 nice men are in my life for a couple of years now, and I cannot imagine it without them anymore. Beside beeing cool nice humans, they are some of the best people I ever worked with.

I am worst at this. I never liked it, but I had my fair share of goodbyes. And today I had one more: my collaboration with Signant Health has ended. It is the first time I am leaving a company so soon (less than 3 months), but sometimes things happen for a reason. I had lots of fun, challenges and, of course, debates on right and wrong on the UX front. I applied design thinking principles and did some design sprint exercises with the HR team for an internal process and the experience, the result, the people enjoying the process was waaaay more rewarding to me than anything else. The product I was hired for is great and I can only hope the next UX designer that will work on it, will be passionate enough to do it justice. But with all things great, I also had small dissapointments that made me decide to part ways. And I am not talking about people, because people are always great. You know the words: process, feedback, yada yada. I learn at least one new thing from the people around me, and the Signant Health people made no exception. This world is quite small, so I am sure one day we will definitely meet again. Special mention goes to Teodora, for being my sidekick office, Tudor and Tudor for trusting me in the first place with this challenge (sorry for leaving you so soon), Oana for all those teambuilding dark stories and fun during the HR design sprint-ish. But also to the teams I worked with (Romania, Finland and US) and all the people with whom I had at least one interaction around the 6th floor - on top of the hill - office. Thank you! #livingtheuxdream #uxlife #userexperience #designthinkinginthecompany #designthinking #designsprint #designsprinthr #agilehr #ux #uxdesignerlife
