Some big stuff happening over here lately in the Johnson house! First, Daniel and I got sealed to each other in the beautiful Nashville Temple. It was such an incredibly special day and I feel so lucky to get to call this man my teammate forever. I'm really grateful the Lord brought us together. Second, after a decade in TV news, I've moved over to academia! I'm the newest member of @vanderbiltu Strategic Communications team specializing in social media. I'm so excited to collaborate, learn, and work on this beautiful campus. Campus 📷: @vanderbiltu
Next year I might get it together enough to actually send out Christmas cards...but for this year -- happy holidays to all y'all! We're grateful for our Savior and the opportunity we have to celebrate His birth and atonement. All of our love to you and yours! ❤️❤️
Time to brag about this adorable woman here! Today my momma graduated from college and I am so proud. She gave up her degree years ago to raise 4 kids and give us everything she has. No it's her turn. She won't tell you this but this lady did it all while teaching seminary (a 5 am wake up call!), being in the YW presidency, moving her kids 5 different times, coordinating and planning my wedding, and running our whole household. AND she had straight 'A's!!! Momma, seeing your drive, perseverance, enthusiasm, and joy in reaching this goal is one of the highlights of my life. I love you!! ❤️❤️
Happy 21st birthday to my animal-loving, adventuresome, funny, goofy, compassionate, loyal, brilliant sister. To know Mikaela is to love her (and to be covered in dog hair). There's no friend more loyal and I'm grateful she's mine forever!! ❤️ Happy 9+10 Mik! (Also you're welcome for not posting all your selfies. 😘)
Can you tell I forced him to take this picture? 😆😂 Almost a year in and we still like each other! Grateful to have this guy by my side. Plus, this city is a great place to keep falling in love! ❤️
My momma, poppa and Mik made a whirlwind trip to the Nash and we had so much fun! We took them everywhere from Broadway to Franklin, 12th South to the beautiful Harpeth River. Can't wait for them to come back!
