How freaking hot was it today?! Brooke + Geoff got married by Elvis at @thelinq and then we shot in the desert for three hours. So so so worth it. 😍
And I love you, like never before
Still swoonin’ over this Aspen wedding 💕
Tim just sent me his and Mallory’s Graceland Chapel wedding video and now I have a perma-grin. It brought me back to their wedding day and the way he kept looking at her. Ahhh 😍 #firstlook #favoritecouple
Since I’ve never really done an “about me”, I think it’s time! For those who don’t know me, HI & thank you for following along! My name is Courtney and I have my dream job as a wedding photographer. I am born, raised, and based in Las Vegas! 🔸I graduated with a degree in fine art photography and began my career using film. I LOVED the darkroom in both high school and college. I just stocked up on film for my upcoming sessions! 🔸 My two greatest loves in life are my golden retrievers, Chloe and Cassie. Chloe went missing a couple years ago while I was vacationing in Kauai (on the very first night I arrived) and was found two months later in my neighborhood! I’m returning to Kauai this fall so I can enjoy myself this time, and hopefully book a session or wedding while I’m there. 🔸One of my goals for the next coming years is to travel more (I know, I know, who doesn’t have that goal). I want to explore new countries, especially Ireland and Italy, and shoot weddings in the midst of all 🤤 🔸I’m an extroverted introvert; I enjoy being social and meeting new people, but if I had to choose, I’d be cozy at home reading my favorite book, listening to true crime podcasts while editing, or watching the love story of Jim and Pam while drinking an ice cold IPA. 🔸This picture was taken by my mother at V. Sattui winery in Napa, the only one I’ve ever visited as a teenager with my late father. All these years we couldn’t remember the name of it until we asked our SF Lyft driver which winery we should visit. Once he said the name, I saw a lightbulb go off in my mom’s brain and we went the very next day. San Francisco holds a special place in my heart because my dad loved it so much and we’ve visited that city as a family more times than I can count! ❤️ Ok that’s all I have. Thanks for reading!
I start off with trembling hands and crippling anxiety at the start of each and every wedding I shoot, only to have a blast & end the day saying bye to my couple with a huge smile on my face or tears of joy (sometimes both). ✨ This is especially true for Justin + Barbara’s wedding, only add complete AWE and a big lump in my throat as I photographed their vows in front of one of the most gorgeous backdrops I’ve ever seen: Maroon Bells in Aspen. I couldn’t and still can’t believe I was flown out to capture such an important day in their lives at a location such as this. ✨ I will forever be grateful for all of my past, present, and future couples who put their full trust in me to capture their weddings. To all my couples: THANK YOU a million times. Btw I’ll be posting photos from this wedding for a lifetime. You’ve been warned. 😄
So excited to be traveling to CO to shoot this sweet couple’s wedding! I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that this is what I do for a living. Get ready for all the roadtrip/hiking/wedding spam 😍
