Happy Sunday! My name is Sabrina. I’m the face behind this lovely feed. As you might have guessed I’m super passionate about my trade. Some would say I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my designs. I can easily take 5 hours on one bouquet. I also am a softy and have been known to tear up when I’ve had to leave a bouquet behind for a shoot. I love doing retail because your constantly challenged to create for so many different occasions. You listen to so many loved ones stories and let them share their personal reasons for sending. I’ve laughed I’ve cried with so many. Weddings have recently become popular once again in our store as we have recently started meeting with brides after taking a three year break due to an accident I endured. I unfortunately had to slow it down to allow time for recovery. After many flights around the county and many regenerative treatments I’m walking and working well again. I thank Jesus everyday for that blessing. Being a single dog momma it’s scary when your faced with the unknown about your health. Luckily I was able to keep the shop running during that difficult time. Last year I was once again challenged when Hurricane Harvey created some damage to my building. I had to close up shop the entire month of March to finally do a complete remodel. One thing positive about that is I finally got the look I wanted and created a modern farm industrial feel that I’m sooo in Love with. Folks that come in love hanging out. It has that warm welcoming homey factor. A little bit about me, I graduated from Sam Houston State with a Business major and fashion design minor. I’m a true home body. I love cooking and baking and sewing when I have the time. I love dancing and my favorite station on Satellite is Utopia. I turn it up at work when I’m alone and you might catch me dancing around with flowers in my hands. Building a successful retail store is challenging and I feel I’ve learned so much. I would love to offer a workshop one day to help others who aspire to open one. My hopes in 2019 is to create more engaging relationships on insta. I wish all you guys a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Happy Hump Day! What an absolutely beautiful week it is!!! Loving this rooftop shoot by @cindyjanette_ and this gorgeous slip dress @stephengraceatelier. I’ve made it my goal this week and weeks coming to reach out to fellow vendors and other followers on Instagram. I think it’s important to get to know and find out what each person really has to offer. This week you may see me pop up on your post giving hearts and smiles. Truly trying to better at putting time aside for acknowledging the hard work you guys do. Engaging with one another is the key. That shows you care and you support them. Acknowledging when someone supports you by responding to a post is also key. And for those who feel committed to the cliques break free you may actually feel better you did so!
Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so grateful for my followers, my flower fans, my supporters who continue to make my shop possible and allow me to do what I love 6 days a week! Also, The ones I can reach out to for advice ( you know who you are). ❤️😘. Enjoy and best wishes!
