b.o.o.k.s.t.a.g.r.a.m . I feel like if I said this to someone who wasn't a book addict, they would think I was being a little over dramatic. However, I know you guys will completely get where I'm coming from! There are very few things that test my patience more than someone trying to talk to me whilst I'm reading. Anyone else share my pain? . It's been a really lovely Hump Day this week! I went in to read to our eldest's preschool class this morning (which she was delighted about!), and then took a little trip to @traderjoes which is always fun. I've been putting off buying chocolate for a good week or so now, but I finally caved today and told myself that it was purely medicinal because I've got a cold...I'm now looking into some very exciting new projects...keep an eye out for more info very soon! . Happy Hump Day, bookstagrammers! We're on the downhill slope to the weekend now, right?! I hope you're all going to manage to get some reading in at some point today. I can't wait to snuggle down on the sofa with my kindle later...
b.o.o.k.s.t.a.g.r.a.m . One of the hardest things about being addicted to reading is the never ending and constantly growing TBR. I have countless books on mine, but everytime I finish one, I seem to add about 3 more to it. This happened yesterday when I was trying to pick my next book and instead of choosing one from my list, I decided to read one I'd never even considered - A Handmaid's Tale. I know I'm super later to the party but I'm pretty excited to finally read it! . We've had a really fun Tuesday, I have to say! We went to check out @ryeairfield this morning which is an indoor skate park and they have a morning for kids - the girls absolutely loved it! Then we had ballet this afternoon - they were pretty exhausted when we got home so I got to get some editing done which was pretty great. I feel like I'm making loads of progress at the moment! . Happy Tuesday, bookstagrammers! I hope you've all had great days and have managed to get some reading in somewhere. I can't wait to curl up on the sofa with my kindle later! What are you all reading?
b.o.o.k.s.t.a.g.r.a.m . I have come to terms in recent years with the fact that I am very much addicted to books. Nothing brings me more joy than starting a new one, or knowing that I get to curl up on the sofa and read when the kids have gone to bed. I don't think I'll ever kick the habit, and I'm ok with that. Anyone else a bookaholic and proud? . We've had the usual super busy Monday in the Moore household today, it's always a bit of a shock to the system after the weekend! Our youngest is feeling a bit under the weather so she's been sleeping a lot today, which has meant that I've managed to get lots of book stuff done. Every cloud has a silver lining and all that...! I'm currently trying to decide on the name for my next book, I've got a few that I keep going back and forth between. Any other authors out there find it SO difficult to finally settle on the name? . Happy Monday, bookstagrammers! I hope your Mondays haven't been too much of a shock to the system and you've managed to get some reading in at some point. If not, stop what you're doing immediately and pick up your book! I'm planning a few chapters on the sofa this evening and I can't wait!
b.o.o.k.s.t.a.g.r.a.m . Don't you just love it when someone recommends a book and it ends up being really fantastic? I love when @stephlkelly suggests books, as she always hits the nail on the head. So I was pretty excited to read The Hating Game after she suggested it. I finished it last night and it definitely didn't disappoint, I absolutely loved it! There's a full review on my blog if you're interested in a more in depth view on it! Link in my bio, as always... . As the whole Moore family are still feeling pretty under the weather, we're having a very lazy Sunday today! Mr Moore's been on Playdoh duty with the girls and I've been busy editing, writing book reviews, and drinking Hot Chocolate. Well, when it's -10 outside, surely Hot Choc is mandatory?! I can't quite believe it's Monday again tomorrow, anyone else think weekends should be 3 days, not 2?! . Happy Sunday, bookstagrammers! I hope you've all had great weekends and have managed to find time to get lost in your books? I'm very much looking forward to snuggling on the sofa with my kindle this evening. Just need to decide which book to read next...
b.o.o.k.s.t.a.g.r.a.m . You know that feeling when you finish a book that you really loved and suddenly you realise that you're not going to get to spend any more time in that world, or with those characters? This is why I love a trilogy or series so much, sometimes just one book doesn't feel like quite enough when you get so engrossed in the story! Anyone else feel like this too? . Today's been a super chilled Saturday at home, as the whole Moore family have come down with colds. The only blessing is that we've all got them at the same time! I have to confess, I'm using it as a bit og an excuse to spend some time on the sofa with my kindle...! I'm reading The Hating Game and loving it so far! . I went to see The Favourite last night, which was really good, but I have to say, it did go on a little bit and it got a bit arty at the end. Have any of you seen it yet? What did you think of it? . Happy Saturday, bookstagrammers! I hope your weekends are off to a great start and you're managing to get some reading in! What's top of your TBR at the moment?
b.o.o.k.s.t.a.g.r.a.m . You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me . C.S.Lewis was a man after my own heart...this quote resonates with me so much. I'm at my happiest when I'm engrossed in a good book accompanied by a cuppa, even if it's only for 10 minutes and I only manage a couple of pages! Tea and books just go hand in hand, don't you think? . After Mr Moore being away for a couple of nights this week, I'm pretty excited that the weekend is here and he'll be around to take over Playdoh duties with the girls for the next couple of days! I'm going to try and sneak away to get a bit more editing done over the weekend - can you tell I'm excited to get the new book out into the world? Any other authors get super impatient at this point in the process? . Happy Friday, bookstagrammers! I hope you've all had excellent weeks, full of great books and cups of tea! We're off to see Mary Queen Of Scots this evening which I'm super excited about, the trailer looks amazing!!
b.o.o.k.s.t.a.g.r.a.m . How many times in a week do you think you tell this little white lie? I think I probably say it it at least 3 times a week. It definitely used to be more but Mr Moore has got wise to it now and tends to either call me out on it straight away, or come and find me after 10 minutes to pull me back to reality! I really don't think I can be blamed though, what are you meant to do when the book is just so good you can't put it down?! . It's been another day of life admin, playing with Playdoh, and editing for us in the Moore house. The new book is so nearly ready to be released, which is super exciting! I always have to control myself at this stage and not release it before it's 100% ready, just because I want you all to finally read it! The girls also had gymnastics this afternoon, which meant I could get a couple of chapters in! . In other exciting news, my little sister @slimmeralice booked her flights to come and see us today! She's coming in May and I'm already planning all the things we want to do with her. By that, I really mean I'm making a list of book shops to take her to... . Happy Thursday bookstagrammers! I hope you're all getting ready for the weekend and spend your evenings snuggled on the sofa with a good book.
b.o.o.k.s.t.a.g.r.a.m . When you've got two children under 5, finding the time to properly relax can be pretty tricky. That's one of the reasons I adore reading so much, even if you just manage to fit 5 minutes in that day, it's such a great escape from every day life. Having my Kindle plays a massive part in this as well... I love that I can get my 5 minutes relaxation anywhere! What's your favourite way to relax? . We've had a lovely lazy day today, running a few errands and playing with playdoh (our youngest has recently discovered a huge love for it!). I'm fully utilising afternoon nap time to get some bits done on the new book. Thank you SO much to everyone who sent me comments on the cover ideas on my story the other night, it was super helpful! Another reason why I adore bookstagram! . I finished Wildfire by Ilona Andrews last night and, alas, wasn't overwhelmed by it. There's a full review up on the blog... link's in my bio! . Happy Hump Day, bookstagrammers...I think we can officially get excited about the weekend now! I hope you all manage to find some time tonight to snuggle up with a good book and a cuppa. I'm planning some more Grey's Anatomy and then a few chapters in bed.
b.o.o.k.s.t.a.g.r.a.m . Life would be utterly glorious if there was nothing to get in the way of reading your book, wouldn't it? If the only thing you had to worry about was the trials and tribulations of whatever fictional characters you were engrossed with at the time. Anyone else daydream about this on a regular basis...? . We've had a lovely day today, the girls are thrilled that the snow’s back. We had a great time playing outside earlier and then some friends came for lunch. Now we're off to a ballet and tap class for our eldest which means I'll get a chapter or two in hopefully. . Happy Tuesday, bookstagrammers! I hope you've all had excellent days and are managing to get some good reading time in. Mr Moore is away at the moment, so I binged three episodes of Grey's Anatomy last night and I'm planning the same for this evening. Followed by some reading time, of course...
