The only thing dangerous about this pit bull is his dangerously serious commitment to the fine art of the snuggle nap. #goodsirrupert #pitbullsofinstagram
It’s cold here. And we are getting more snow this week. This is not compatible with my mind, which is here. #sun #warm
Morning, Saturday... you gave such nice light. #studio #planning
Happy Valentine’s Day-@molecularmirror showing love in lab today for planarians, cell division, and laser-cutting. Science and art both love creativity. #sciart
It's always great to see my work in the wild! Today I spied my @minted piece, Calculation, in a space designed by @elizabeth.krueger.design . Fun biologist/artist fact, I used an old wire test tube rack (that I found in dumpster) and a transfer pipet to make it.
Our brown leghorn, Stevie, has just started laying and the eggs are wee darling little things! #tiny #chickens
It’s been 3 years and 60 lbs more and #goodsirrupert still tries to sleep like this. #pitbullsofinstagram

1,000,000 That little white sliver is one million cells. Numbers of small things are always very delightful to behold. Just for some perspective- that’s double the number of people that live in Kansas City (or 1/8th of NYC) These cells are small. How small? Take an average thickness human hair (0.08mm) and you would be able to fit 8 cells across it. #numbers #science #scale #onemillionthings

Camp stove and a puzzle, no power, no problem!
Y’all, this is one of the best Christmas presents we have ever received. We spent “Christmas” this year in Utah with @wheresmikeandcindy in October. One of our favorite times was a hike up Grandstaff Canyon. My Mom picked up a lot of foliage on the hike and unbeknownst to us- she was gathering for our Christmas present with us! It was so awesome to open our gift of a leaf-dyed runner from the hike, complete with our trails. Even cooler-the behind the scenes process of the making! Swipe for the origin and the process! Thanks Mom and Dad, it’s the best way to hang on to such good memories. Where are we meeting up for next “Christmas”?! #art #made #lucky #memories
