The Denton County Alumnae Chapter will be awarding scholarships to eligible graduating high school students within Denton County! Eligibility Criteria: • Applicant must be an African American male or female student • Applicant must attend school and reside in Denton County • Applicant must be college-bound, graduating in the May/June 2020 school year • Applicant must have a GPA ≥ 2.75 on a 4.0 scale The applicant will be required to submit an application form, three letters of recommendation, a small non-returnable photo, and write a short essay in order to be considered for a scholarship. The essay should be a minimum of two pages, but not longer than three pages typed and double spaced. Information and application are located on the DCAC website.
