Just the most beautiful group of women right here! So grateful that I could be a part of @courtneycasper.letters' Inspired Lettering class at SALT tonight! She has a way of making everyone feel loved, appreciated, and cared for. I got tears in my eyes so many times as the women spoke about who they were and why they came to SALT. We have women who flew in from all over the country and from Canada to attend tonight's and tomorrow's classes. Feeling so humbled right now and so so grateful. Bring on tomorrow!!
SALT Retreat is this weekend!!!! We start tonight with the Inspired Lettering class with @courtneycasper.letters which will be a Spirit filled night. So excited! Also- we are excited to announce @abountifulkitchen's Si Foster as one of our women on our Motherhood Panel with @shelbyosmond and @shan.tripp. Our original third speaker, Jonelle, felt it was best for her to stay home as her husband is a part of the Las Vegas Police Department and knew that she would be needed at home while he was gone during this time. So grateful to Si for stepping in last minute! This weekend will be so good! Who is coming and what are you most excited for?!
Today we spent hours and hours prepping for SALT this weekend... with 6 crazy kids. 😂😂 It was an adventure, but we are so excited! It will be so good!!
Three more class descriptions! (Remember you can go to the website to see all of them at the same time! These are just little bites of the goodness that will be this Saturday!) ❤️❤️
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! I've never had more turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and pie then when I was a missionary over Canadian Thanksgiving! They stuffed and spoiled us!! Love that land so much! 📷: @sarahraeharris
SALT Scholarship closes tonight- if you want to come to SALT, but financially can't make it happen, go to the last post for more info! ❤️❤️❤️ 📷: @ljestudio
**CLOSED**SALT SCHOLARSHIP INFO** As a quick intro, for those who don't know, my name is Elise and I am the founder of SALT (and this is my sweet family!) The inspiration for SALT came in February 2016, but I was struggling with depression and a lack of a testimony. I decided I needed to take time to take care of myself mentally and spiritually before I attempted anything big like SALT. Fast forward to the Fall of 2016 and I started to get the ball rolling. Last October my husband lost his job and two weeks later I started to officially finalize things for our first SALT. On December 9th, 2017, we launched ticket sales. Why am I telling you this? Because during this time of me launching SALT, I had $0.00. My family was on Church Welfare (which I am so grateful for) and I had to borrow money from my mom for the down payment for the event space. I had so much faith that the event would do well and I promised my mom I would pay her back within three weeks of ticket sales. Thankfully to so many of you, I was able to pay her back within that first week of ticket sales. Because of the very humble beginnings of SALT, I realize that there are some of you out there that would love to come to SALT, but you can't afford it, which is why we have opened TWO SALT Scholarship spots. We want to help two of you come to SALT, that couldn't attend otherwise. You can either nominate yourself or you can nominate a friend. To enter: 1- Make sure that you or your friend are available to attend next Saturday, October 14. 2- You don't need to go into major detail, but either post below or email firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us why you or your friend want to be considered. 3- Tag any friends that you think could use this. 4- We will accept applications through Sunday night. 5- Know that I love all of you!! ❤️❤️❤️ 📷: @daynagracephoto
Loving this picture from @rio.grange. Sometimes the temple is the only place I can feel peace. How do you find peace in your every day life? (Asking for a tired, worn out mom friend 😉😉)
