We are counting down to Aug. 8, the feast of St. Dominic! St. Dominic founded the Dominican Order, which staffs Providence College. Follow @ProvCollege to learn more about some of the major events in his life, as depicted in the stained glass windows of St. Dominic Chapel.⠀ Final Testament: St. Dominic actually died on Aug. 6, 1221, but because that date conflicts with the celebration of the #Transfiguration, Dominic's feast day was postponed until Aug. 8. He died saying to his brothers, “Do not be fearful of my dying because I will be more helpful to you after death.”
New sights on the horizon. 🛠 🚧 🚜 #PCsciencecomplex
