Here it is! One of the few Family Films coming up (and not the last, I'm sure) featuring some cooking together! One weekend morning, this family of 7 invited me in to their home. Chocolate chip pancakes were on the menu with help from all - from cracking the eggs to setting the plates and cleaning up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PS - one of my favorite parts is definitely after the 60sec allowed to play in this post. Check out my IGTV for the full version! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am loving the request to cook and bake. Who here loves to include their kids in the kitchen? Even I do and I am only beginning to enjoy cooking and baking. The tiny hands reaching for ingredients, their eyes constantly watching and waiting for your instruction. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The response to these films is overwhelming and I end up wiping my own tears reading the emails from the Mom's who will treasure these forever.
I am loving how much more relaxed family film’s have been. While planning the last session, the Mom asked “So should we stay in pajamas?” and before responding I thought - how freaking awesome that I get to say HELL YES to that? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Saturday morning pajamas with a side of chocolate chip pancakes coming soon and I can’t wait to show you. 🥞🍳
Anyone else see snow in the forecast and immediately begin some epic meal planning? Like - last supper - kind of plans? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And while I know I might be stuck with hours to prep something, I still want the easiest...epic last supper. Crock pot? Something with pasta? Something with carbs then more carbs then chocolate? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I need some ideas here, people!
