No monkey business 🐒 on day 9 of our last #socialmediabootcamp as our mentors shared their annual revenue with our students. This is invaluable information which you will not find on any website and which, under most circumstances, you would never be given. Getting to see the breakdown of money making activities from each of the mentors was truly eye opening and left our students feeling inspired. On that high note the students were set to task working on their brand strategy for tomorrow's presentation.

Here at IOC we love early morning wake ups to catch the magic of sunrise! Our students on our last session were absolute troopers with multiple sunrise shoots this and then returning to the Villa in time for breakfast and class! Today was Lightroom day for the students on our last retreat! 🖌 @eyes_of_a_nomad and @reneeroaming walked our students through their editing process from importing the unedited image to exporting ready for IG or other platforms. For those new to Lightroom, these skills will be a complete game changer, for those already familiar, they learnt some new tips and tricks to help with the flow and consistency of their editing. We love that our students are making the most of every opportunity here. @jacobhestonvibes decided he wanted to shoot with a floating breakfast @cabinabali ☕ We liked it so much we are going to make it a planned activity for the next bootcamp!
On day 5 of our #socialmediabootcamp we took our students on a day trip around the Ubud area starting with sunrise at Tegalalang rice terraces to capture that morning light 👌🌞 We then proceed to breakfast followed by a waterfall, market shopping in Ubud, visiting the monkeys and ending with sunset at the Ridge Walk. It is a massive day of content creating which gives the students a taste of what it can be like for a travel influencer and gives the students plenty of content to practice editing on. At the end of day 4 of our last session our students had a free afternoon to kick back and relax! Their minds full of Instagram growth strategies and Lightroom editing skills, some poolside chill time was well earned. 🏊

Day 2 of last weeks #socialmediabootcamp and we have all been blown away (both mentally and physically!) Mentally by our lessons on photography & camera gear and the fundamentals of Instagram (bio, tags, hashtags, captions, feeds, boosting, ranking). Physically by the gail force winds blowing @thelawncanggu during our sunset drinks and photoshoot! But that didn't stop us from making the most of it and experiencing #instagramvsreality
This was Day 1 of our inaugural Social Media and Content Marketing Bootcamp! Our students are listening intently as their mentors discuss Influencer marketing and branding. These panel style discussions are called 'Masterminds' and allow the students the opportunity to direct questions to the mentors about the topic at hand. Afterwards, we got the students thinking about their own brands by asking them a number a questions such as 'How would you want other people to describe your brand?' This is just the beginning...stay tuned to see what the rest of the course entails!
