Accessorize, Accessorize is what I tell my seniors! When thinking about what to wear for you senior portraits, accessories can make the difference. They provide endless opportunities to express yourself, bring your personality out, and help make fashion statements. So don’t be shy. Express yourself! • Some of my favorite accessories are hats, big earring and scarves. • What are some of your favorite accessories?
Monday’s are my least favorite day of the week. I find it really hard to get going and drag my feet for the first part of the day. My accountability action group moved to Monday mornings at 5:15 am. Yes, not only is it on Mondays now but also at 5:15 am. I’m not a morning person so showing up for the accountability action online meet up was a challenge but I want to be committed and I want to make an effort to become a morning person. I got a lot done this morning after my meetup. One of them was sending my magazine for my 2020 model team to the lab. • I’m not going to lie, getting up at 4:45 am is making me want to take a nap about now. • What kind of challenges have you had this morning.
There are no limits to what you can accomplish, except the limits you place on your own thinking. ~ Brian Tracy
I hope everyone had a great time over the holidays and were able to take time off from work to spend with family and friends. • I took most of December off from work and was able to get away from social media from Christmas to today. • I normally stay home for New Year’s. I’m completely content cozying up next to the fireplace reading a good book as I welcome the new year. • This year we were invited to a friends house for yummy food and fellowship. After the countdown and all the celebrations where done the host asked us to share with one another two things: What we were most grateful for in 2018 and what we look forward to the most in 2019. Afterwards we all held hands and we prayed. It was the perfect way to welcome the new year. • I shared I was grateful for all the wonderful opportunities I had in 2018. From working with amazing clients, meeting new people, conferences and workshops to traveling and so much more. 2019 I look forward to growth. Growth in my faith, growth in been present with my family and friends, growth in my community and growth my business. A lot of doors full of opportunities were opened last year. Now I need to get to work! • How bout you? What were you grateful for in 2018 and what do you look forward to in 2019?
I just realized yesterday that Christmas is next Tuesday. I don’t know about you but I’m not quite ready. I feel horrible that my house is not even decorated other than the wreath that is hanging on my front door that someone gifted me. I love decorating for Christmas it’s my favorite time of the year and I like to go all out. This year I’m failing miserably. So bad that I kept nagging my husband to get us a Christmas tree. He finally did and the poor tree is been in my living room for almost a week and still no lights or decorations on it. At least it has water. Please tell me I’m not the only one with a naked Christmas tree in the living room. • • • • • • • • Blouse: @anthropologie Pants: @jcrew
What’s been the highlight of your week? This week has been a good one! I been waking up every morning and made time for meditation and devotion. I sent out or dropped off all of this year’s weddings Christmas gifts. But even greater than all this things, I met with my friend Jocelyn from @optimizemedia_jocelynwing to talk business and encourage each other to dream big and embrace failure. Part of the journey to success is learning to fail first.
