With Remembrance Day just over a week away, the owls reflect on what it all means.. We made some simple artworks with paper poppies and our own drawings to display for our families and friends 🇦🇺♥️🇳🇿

We love a spooky pumpkin 🎃
WORLD TEACHER DAY 👩🏼🏫👩🏻🏫 here’s to some of the team of amazing educators we have here at Little Diggers.. Today is an opportunity to recognise and appreciate our teachers and the important role they play in shaping the next generation! We love you all ♥️
🔨 We love using tools and engaging in risky play experiences! These help to develop skills such as making choices, measuring risks and problem solving.
An awesome way to manage those piles of craft/art that build up!! Our beautiful Mini Montage is finally framed.. ♥️ 12 pieces of the children’s art, photographed and montaged into one amazing print! We can’t recommend @theminimontage enough! Quick, easy and so gorgeous!!
The OWLS are increasingly interested in simple number sentences and addition. Today we learned how to use a calculator to help answer the problem! We wrote out our sentences first and then worked out the answer. ⭐️1️⃣➕1️⃣= 2️⃣⭐️
The OWLS have been reflecting on our Acknowledgment of Country. We have been discussing what these words mean to us and why it is important to say them. ❤️🖤💛 We made a new wall display with the words and artwork all done by the children!
JINGLE BUSES 🚎 🚌 the owls are exploring transport... We borrowed an awesome lesson from @ruthchapman.art and learned about these amazing buses from India & Pakistan that are decked out with colours, bells, and magical patterns!
The Red Pussycats are learning about the letter Q and they are talking about Queens. Do we have a real queen? Yes it's Queen Elizabeth, which inspired us to create our own life size Queen Elizabeth mask/crown today at Grand friends.
Lana did some window cleaning this arvo.. everyone in the kittens room wanted to help! #teamwork
The OWLS surprised Marie for her 100th birthday today... so much love and excitement for our special grand friend ❤️
The owls took a stroll up the top of the village.. We each had a colour car group and we had to count how many cars drove past us! 🚗🚙🚓
When the sun broke through this arvo 🌦we found a few sticks and made some marks in the wet sand.. a perfect canvas!
A bit of an OMG 🥰 moment when the art activity turns out even more magical than expected... ⭐️ The owls made these SUBMARINES for our ocean transport week... (We were inspired by the awesome @anotherartteacher and the year 2 kids...) We did a multi step collage of paint, drawing and paper to make these amazing pictures! ⭐️ . . . #invitationtocreate #earlyyearsideas
