Lights, camera, action! Last week we were running simulations for a series of educational videos. We may have unearthed some raw talent. Thanks, Mortimore Productions.
We received a new addition today at our center in the Providence Medical Park. An additional CT scanner! Next up is an additional MRI. We're running out of room quickly.
Our Scheduling Manager, Ronda, is debuting Mr. Monty the therapeutic pony this weekend at the Rascal Rodeo in Cheney, WA. Be sure to stop by for some love.
For July #Cardiovascular Health Month, we are offering a stroke and vascular screening for only $99. No referral needed. A screening for these diseases can measure your risk and provide important information to help improve your vascular health and prevent life-threatening problems.
Happy Independence Day!
It was on this day 41 years ago the first MRI body scan of a human being was performed. Oh, how things have changed! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_magnetic_resonance_imaging
Once again, we'll be providing free X-ray exams for players injured at #Hoopfest. Here's hoping we won't see you at Providence Urgent Care. Good luck out there!
To a child, getting a CAT Scan might seem scary at first. Not with The Kitten Scanner. This mini version simulates the basic premise of computer-aided tomography. Each toy has an RFID that displays results on the screen when scanned. It's a neat educational toy that helps kids understand that there's nothing to fear. See it in action at Stony Brook Children's Hospital here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZ9jRUC0FAI
This is Sven. He works at the Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha. Here he is showing kids that CT machines are not scary at all. His birthday's in February if you're wondering.
To all those who have served, we thank you. #MemorialDay
If you know one, please take time to thank a nurse for what they do for all of us. #NurseWeek
Good luck, Bloomies! Go easy on those ankles. #Bloomsday2018
