Sharing this image of Jordan and Kyleigh for all its color, love, and light. We can all use a little bit of that sometimes.
When you’re always a bridesmaid but never a bride 🤪 // photo by wonderman @andrehorton
So proud of @scott.spooner.art and his gorgeous opening at the @akelacollective space tonight 🖤
These past 36 hours have been quite a trip (can I get an AMEN?) Getting violently rocked out of bed yesterday put me on an edge I couldn’t shake (as I’m sure many of you can relate). I wasn’t totally sure how to move forward with my weekend Hot Damn plans, but all my gurls responded with enthusiasm to move forward. So I headed over to our venue last night to get set up. Upon arrival, I was met by the hosts who told me, “We’re just so excited for what you’re doing and we think this will be really good for the community right now with everything that happened today.” WOW. What a beautiful thing to say. Today was an incredible departure from the chaos and anxiety of yesterday. We made a space of fun and celebration. In more ways than one, I was reminded today of the power of art and I’m so grateful for every woman who joined in that. Here’s to many more Hot Damns 🖤
Never done a #tbt before. Here’s throwing it back to earlier this month in a place that always feels like home to me.
Sup gurl? I have 1 spot left for Hot Damn, Girl! this Saturday. More pricing details in my story. Message me if you want to get your boudoir on this weekend! Books close tomorrow at 7PM 🖤
Last chance to hop on board the boudoir train! 🚂 We’ve got some incredible women signed up for Saturday and I for one am *VERY* excited to make photos and create a space for my gurls where all our bodies are honored and celebrated. Just a few spots left if you think getting photos of your beautiful self sounds like fun. DM me for details!
@mandymorell was the person who taught me how to take a photo. The hard ass teacher (I say with all love in my heart) who didn’t let us crop or photoshop anything our very first semester so we would learn how to do it right: how to compose a frame, how to pay attention. She awoke an undeveloped passion in me and nurtured it to life, and I will always have her to thank for that. This is a frame of her listening to the toasts at her wedding, her wedding which she let me photograph. I feel very grateful she let me do that 🖤
