Yup, that's me whippin my hair back and forth. Between the two of us, my husband and I had four weddings we were bridal party for this year. Two of them happened to be on the same day in separate states, so we had to split up that weekend. The next wedding Ryan was in and I was photographing. This last one we were both in the wedding party and I left the camera at home. I love this shot @arieleikinzer captured of us hitting the dance floor. Every once in a while it's nice to have the night off to enjoy a wedding with my husband, and trust that the person behind the camera is killing it like this amazing lady did. 😘
I spent my weekend decking our halls for Christmas and finally digging out all our picture frames to hang on the walls. Our house is so friggin homey now. Happy December!! If anyone has any favorite holiday events or activities happening in Colorado Springs or Denver this month, hit me up with your recs. 🎄⛄
HAPPY FRIDAY! This boy turned three this week, and in honor of his birthday I thought I'd share a few fun facts about my little mascot: - We named him Kirby because the alliteration in the name Kirby Kearney was too good to pass up. (And it just fit.) - He disappoints people everywhere we go because he's such a pretty boy but barks if a stranger comes too close. Or makes eye contact. Or tries to talk to him. I promise he's great once he's decided you're not around to kill us all. - I have never felt such a strong mutual attachment with a dog. This guy is a true Mama's boy, and it's both a blessing and a curse having a creature be this dependent on me. - When he's not harassing us to tug on whatever toy is in his mouth, or throw a ball for him 80 times in a row, or barking at the UPS guy like our lives depend on it, he's happiest snuggling up right in between us. Even when he doesn't really fit. - He has quite the variation of nicknames. Kirbalicious, Kirbo, Kirbmeister, puppy dog, raccoon, trash panda, little bear, baby dog, fox face, the list goes on... . Really, I just love this fluffy, snuggly, anxious ball of energy. As much of a pain in the butt he can be, he has enriched our lives since the day we brought him home.
