Wishing for a longer weekend to enjoy more of this beautiful fall weather in asheville 🍁🍂 I’ve been trying really hard to plan and prep for the upcoming week a little bit each weekday so that I can work less (or not at all) on Sundays. I commit to staying late one weekday per week, and try to leave reasonably early the other days. What are your favorite time management tips?

You cannot be all things to all students. But...you will be the right teacher at the right time. You will be the exact teacher that one child needed more than anything. - Paul. F.C. Mundy
Today was a really tough day. I know you can relate because we all have days like this. Teaching is so tough. Tonight a friend asked me “What went well in your classroom today?” This simple question came at the perfect moment and I’m so grateful he asked me. Honestly, it was hard to think of what went well, but there’s always something even if it’s small. It’s easy to focus on all the things going “wrong,” but I also want to be better about remembering what went well. What went well in your room today? I want to know! 💙 (These printable affirmations are free—just click the link in my bio to download!)
