I love this stunning rehearsal dinner styled by @vcweddingsandevents
I had a really good conversation with a photographer during our @photonative shoot in January. She said she had a really hard time deciding which direction to go with her work. She didn't know if she wanted to be fine art or if she wanted her couples to look happy. I responded why not both? I think that people have a misconception that if you are a fine art wedding photographer than your subjects have to be serious. It's not true!!! Being a fine art photographer is about how you compose and curate your work. Of course there are many other factors but the way a photographer directs and captures a well composed and clean scene can make a world of difference in any shoot. We want our couples to look happy because they are. I will continue to capture the romantic and peaceful moments but laughing is always encouraged too.
Too much snow lately and I cannot wait for green rolling hills.
I love this cake shot. Can I just shoot everything through watery glass? Could that be the new brushfire look? 😂 From our @photonative shoot with @amberreverie and cake by @annies.c.a.k.e.s
I am amazed by the variety of locations I have available within 20 minutes from my house. #utahstatecapitol I am excited to go back home in a couple weeks though and be in the desert for a few days.
