What happens when you let your cosmetology student kid “play” with your hair? That’ll do, kid :)
What you see: Teenage contemplation. What you don’t see: She was watching a couple of dudes attempt to climb (and repeatedly fall out of) a tree. P.S. They’re fine; boys are stupid.
Went walking with the hubs and our youngest, we saw some stuff.
Her: Wait, am I supposed to be able to do this? Me (looking down): HURRRRRRRL GarthNHRN: Do it again!
Go home groundhog, you’re drunk. #earlyspring #snowaybro #notmygroundhog #itsprettythough
We’ve been visiting (and hugging) Grandmother Willow for way more years than I can remember (or care to admit) and, well, sometimes it’s the simple little things that bring out the big kid in us. And yes, I am totally a tree-hugging enabler. #grandmotherwillowisthatyou #nevertoooldtohugatree
You guys all know the last 3 years have been rough and it’s been a tough year for me and my family since my Dad passed away. . I’ve made decisions in the last two weeks that have been both liberating and a little frightening (okay, excuse my Jersey, but I’m scared shitless by all the doubts whispering our imminent failure) however, I’m stoked to keep moving forward towards working on a brighter future for me and mine. . Having friends who are ready to step in, hold your hand and remind you to breath helps...A LOT! . I’m headed home refreshed and ready to get to work on manifesting “the plan” — thank you for an amazingly relaxing and productive week, Melisa and Jim! GarthNHRN and I are both super-lucky to have you guys in our corner :)
Reminds me of (and now missing) my book-loving girls, at home — see yuhs soon :)
I could stare at/listen to this creek, all day — man, it’s been a great week — so glad to have shared quiet moments like these with @melisalw 💕
